Mommadramma and the Hope Family

I don’t know if anyone still reads this….and I haven’t started my new blog yet…but oh boy there will be drama when I do.
But for anyone still here (and you who may be stalking me!!!!!) WE WON!!!!! and YOU (not you guys…but HER)….lost!
It feels fantastic.
Dear baby daughter….I love you. I will protect you…we will rise you up above it all…you are one of us….YOU ARE HOME!

Thank you to all who have written and emailed and Facebooked. I will be starting my new blog next month and I will be contacting you then. I am just trying to find a way to make sure that it is private and invite only and that I am not jeopardizing my children’s saftey. For those of you who are concerned, I am assured (almost daily) that the current threat to our adoption is not a concern in the least. But since I adore my children…I want to make sure that my panache for writing doesn’t affect their happy, healthy childhood.

Also thank you to all who have said I helped them along their adoption journey. I hope I have, it was always my intention to help love and support us through these sometimes trying times. I am so excited about our continued journey…just somewhere far far away 🙂

I’m sad to be leaving here as it was my home, but alas….

So all of you. First I want to apologize for my lack of writing as of late. Sorry to any reader who is still here. My novel is going extremely well and I have devoted all of my extra non-parenting hours to it. Which is really great. However I miss you all very much!!!
So because of some safety related concerns and some disturbing news related to our family and the adoption of my youngest daughter I feel the need to move this blog to a more private place. Rest assured I have been told by lawyers, DCFS and my social workers that there is no real threat to our adoption at all and we will proceed as planned, but I don’t feel comfortable with my information available at this moment.

The good news is, I am going to be returning to blogging shortly, I will have to start all over again, but maybe it was time for that anyway as I feel I am outgrowing this home. For all of you dear friends and readers…if you know how to find me 🙂 Which I know you do, then you will be able to email me to get the address to the new blog and the new name, and I will provide updates on an individual basis.

I want to tell you that I love you all and have greatly appreciated you support and care. Form the bottom of my heart, you are simply some of the best people in the world.  I look forward to seeing you/talking to you soon.

As for my facebook page, it is now only set to friends, so if you know me…FRIEND ME and I will let ya in. 🙂

Holy moly I’m wriiting a novel. I just heard from the production company and they love the idea. We will have coffee soon after they have read the first chapter and they say they may have good news for me. I am REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO GOOD NEWS!!!! But anyway if feels great. I’m writing a book. I will actually get to finish this project by myself.
I will also be writing a children’s animated television series, I should know more of the details soon. 🙂

And I still have my lovely little kids all of them dc and my own…this shall be a very busy few months ahead, but I don’t care, it feels so good to be writing again. It makes being a mom and a caregiver so much more sparkly and fun. And….boy do I feel great. Now I just need to lose 40lbs…. 🙂 hell if I can write a 4 volume novel series I can drop a “kindergartner size” lob of body fat. WEEE

So I am very aware, that this is gloating 🙂 But since I posted so many pics of Indya I wanted to post one more of Aria.

This is her school picture. Please try to over look her “crazy hair” (her term) She did not let me do it that day…so it is very crazy. She put her barette in herself…can you tell?

But it sorta looks like a Gap AD, so I wanted to post it. Next will be her funny video from their school play.

I know this is mom stuff… but fun.

Not for us… heavens no, I’m done, my little girls are home safe and sound 🙂

But for LORI, Forever Family 🙂 She is just about to bring home her 6 week old baby SON!!!!

After much thought, prayer and meditation, she realised that this beautiful, peaceful little boy was HER SON!

I am so excited,  in two days we will be shooting a commercial for an Almay product line of natural cosmetics and the theme for our commerical is “Every woman is beautiful” Aria will also be in the commercial 🙂

This is a fun opportunity, we are part of a competition for this campaign and it may or may not be picked up, I will let you know, but it feels AMAZING to be back in the groove again. I am writing the script, and Aria and I are in the commercial. While I have really kissed my acting days good bye, I think it is funny that I have been in two things this month alone…funny funny. But it feels great and I’m excited for Aria, she’ll have a lot of fun.

And what is even funnier (or funner) is that our little transracial family has been depicted twice as a cool diverse American family and if the Almay commercial goes, it will be a national spot, so the nation will see our beautiful transracial family, that alone is very very very exciting!!!!

Well, the evals are tomorrow and not today. How do I know that? I went to the eval and was told…”it’s tomorrow” I am lame. 😦

And yes ya’ll have guessed it the hot fella on the header is in fact Hot Model Guy (HMG), I do not lie my friends…he is dreamy.

I love him dearly and he loves Aria and I which is awesome. I could plaster this page with major hotness and poor TGM may burst, but I do wanna keep his life private as he has asked. However I will give just another glimpse 🙂
