I’m a twentysomething book lover enrolled in a DPhil in English at the University of Oxford. The “English” bit is quite random, as I study science communication – at other universities I’d be in Sociology, Comparative Literature, Maths & Physics or STS.

My first blogs date from 2010, when I spent a year abroad; I took those offline. In 2012, I secured a real job as a blogger. These blogs about my student life were commissioned by Leiden University, and appeared on the blog Het Leids Kwartiertje (in Dutch) during the two years I spent there doing my master’s degree in Literary Studies.
