Writer’s Unblock Bash version

For those of you who have writer’s block, here’s a little something to spark your creativity when you need a plot twist or idea. This is a Bash script created for me by a fellow participant in the alt.os.linux.ubuntu newsgroup. Feel free to edit the file.

Download unblockbashscript-0.4.zip

Use it:

1. Unzip to any directory.
2. Open the directory in a terminal window.
3. Type this command:

bash unblock.sh

4. Press the Enter key for random writing ideas.
5. Press any other key to exit the script.

For those of you who have writer’s block, here’s a little something to spark your creativity when you need a plot twist or idea.This is a JavaScript page you can save to your hard drive and run locally. Just click the NEW IDEA button for random writing ideas. Feel free to edit the file.

Use it:

1. Unzip to any directory.
2. Double-click the file to open it in your default browser.
3. Left-click the NEW IDEA button for random writing ideas.
4. Close the browser to exit the script.
