Automatic Login

- Open a terminal window.

Type this command:
/usr/bin/X11/kcontrol
- Press the Enter key.
- Open System Administration
- Open Login Manager
- Open the Convenience tab.
- Check the Enable Auto-Login box.
- Choose your username from the drop-down list.
- Save.
- Close the window,
KDE4
- Open the K menu.
- Left-click the Settings menu entry.
- Left-click the System Settings menu entry.
- Double left-click the Login Screen icon.
- Left-click the Convenience tab.
- Left-click in the check-box next to Enable Auto-Login.
- Left-click the Apply button in the bottom right corner of the window.
