When browsing files locally, Dolphin builds up thumbnails of the images you have viewed, placing them in the hidden .thumbnails directory inside your home directory. To remove them:
- Open a terminal window and type:
cd ~/.thumbnails/normal
Press the Enter key.
- Then type:
rm -rf *.png
Press the Enter key.
- Then type:
cd ~/.thumbnails/large
Press the Enter key.
- Then type:
rm -rf *.png
Press the Enter key.
