As you know, in this household, we read Two Lumps. Today we found out that Caramon, the real lif inspiration for Snooch, passed away. Please join me in conveying our sympathies to the folks left behind.

I'm not really the type of kitty who blogs all the time but I'm going to be periodically posting over at my person's blog. Mabey once ever couple of weeks. Here's the address. Argo City

Here's a copy of my first entry;

Greetings. My name is Carmel and I am the resident feline. As I’m sure you can tell, obviously I am the superior creature in Argo City (Why else would the people be cleaning out my litter box and no the other way around?).

As such I will be periodically be taking over the blog for my own purposes. Today’s use; I would like to make an announcement. My water dish is empty. I require it to be filled immediately or I shall be forced to express my intestinal displeasure on the carpet.

It's been over a year an a half hasn't it?

I'm not sure if we are ready to start all of this again, but I'd be remissif I didn't introduce you to the newest member of the family;

I thought I'd drop by and write something profound and insightful, but I could n't think of anything, so here's a pictrure of a baby in a pile of plush toy instead.














Hi little blurpy thing!

You know, she should really get her own blog.

That's something we call "foreshadowing"

But it's not so little anymore! What have they been feeding this thing?

I showed the little blurpy thing around the barn and then took it out to the garden. We had to be carefull of the dress, but it was nice visit.

Of course next time they should bring me catnip.

The problem here is that the hospital isn;t giving him his antidepressant medication, and without it he gets paranoid and uncooperative. He's recovering physically from the pnemonia that origianlly put him there, but because he's not getting his medication, he's devloping other problems, not eating and not coooperatining with the nurses and doctors. Things are getting bad. Please keep him in prayer.

My friends Shawna and Greg adopted a little kitten who looks just like me! I'm sure I'll get pics up sometime.

They named him Nemo.

Isn't that some form of animal cruelty?

I have just three words for you.

Stinky Goodnesss Rules.

We get stinky goodness once a day here in the barn and crunchyfood all day. I never got stinky goodness before! The people said it made my litterbox smell bad. Well screw them! The entire world is my litterbox! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

In other news, How the crap did I manage to win an award for my blog when I haven't updated in two months?

The fun thing about blogging is that reality can be adjusted bit to fit the story best. The people who know Moses know that this blog is usally a few days or even weeks behind reality.

The situation is this.

Moses has long recovered from his original trip to the vet. he is past his incontanance, and has demonstrated the ability to control.

He has however, for the last few months, started urinating all over the house. I mean, ALL over. Every room, on cloths, on appliances, the vacume cleaner, the amplifier, coats. He has not used his litter box at all in the last month.

We have tried for months to help him, to train him, with the advice of books and doctors (and yes 5-Cat, we tried google too). We have spent hundreds of dollars in vet bills and cleaning trying to correct this.

We don't think this is jealousy either. Moses gets on surprisingly well with the baby, and this behaviour preceeds her birth. But the Baby is the problem. We will not have her rolling and crawling around a house (not a room, a house) soaked in cat urine.

That means Moses has to go.

We have an aquaitnance who used to raise horses. She's long since retired, but her barn stilll remains, and is home to several cats. Moses moved into this barn on Tuesday. He gets stinky goodness every day and lots of crunchyfood.

Understand, we agree with all of you. Pets are not disposable. It would have been cruel to leave moses just out of the house, at the mercy of the ally cats around (Bibs and Graymalkin ARE real), and exposed in the elements. A new home was the only choice left.

We cried as we drove Moses to his new home, and cried as we drove home without him. We mourn the fact taht we may not be able to have another cat in this house. I've never lived without one.

We ended Moses' online story on what we hoped was a high note. I intended this blog to go on for years, but with the cat gone, it would be too painful to continue to write every day. Moses may still post ocasionally on Catnip Annonymous and the attack of teh tabbies. he may even post here once in awhile, but this blog as a daily project is sadly over. We can not tell you what it means to us that Moses found so many friends in teh blogsphere. We never imagined he would have this many visitors, or so many others saddened with us at his departure.

Moses is no longer with us, but he is alive, and has a chance to be happy, to make new friends....and of course to raise up a new army to take over the world.

They are gone.

After the thrashing I gave them last night, Graymalkin has promised never to come back. The girls are to scared to ever return to my yard. None of those cats have a spine when their leader has run....

...thier leader.

Bibs ran off into the night vowing revenge. I believe him, and I believe that the little blurpy thing will never be safe while he is about. I'm going to have to do something about that. I'm the only one who can really hunt bibs down, even though that means going away.

I think of the little blurpy thing,

and the rest is easy.
