Woman's Club of Hollywood Art Show

This past Thursday, Sept. 16th, I was part of a 4 person art show held at the Woman's Club of Hollywood to benefit the Hollywood Library Project. Here are some pictures of the pieces I put in the show. Thanks to everyone who came, it was a great turnout and I had a BLAST.

Mia and Roller Bear meet!

This is based on a true story about a stuffed bear I won for a girlfriend at a roller rink(just like in the movies!) and a dog she had pet sat for.

'Miles Thompson' donation for the PRES-AID Auction!!!

Here's my donation to the Pres-Aid art auction, supporting my friend Pres Romanillos.

It's an original painting by Miles Thompson. I purchased it in 2007 at his solo show at the La Luz de Jesus Gallery inside Wackos on Sunset. If you've ever sipped a tropical cocktail at the 'Tiki Ti' bar down the street, you may have seen his artwork decorating the walls there. He has also worked in CARTOONS before.

I've enjoyed having this piece, and now I hope that someone else will.

This is a painting I did last year(Jan.2009) for my first Ghettogloss group art show(while the gallery was still located in Silver Lake next to the Red Lion Tavern).
