Meow!  (That’s hello! in kitten!)

I’m Moo, and I’m a 4 month old boy kitten.  I was dumped at the pound as a tiny kitten and as soon as I got there, I contracted an awful infection in my eyes.  Due to the infection and overcrowding, I was scheduled to be euthanized.  With just a day left, the kind-hearted volunteers at Austin Pets Alive (APA) swooped in and rescued me and my siblings.

Since I was the sickest, I went to live with a foster mom of my own.  The vets at APA predicted that my corneas would rupture due to the virus and eventually they’d have to take my eyes, and I’d always be blind.  But they didn’t count on the determination of my foster mom to save my eyes, or my spunky good cheer and refusal to give up!

Just a month later, my eyes finally started to open!  Slowly I got better, and there’s no stopping me now!  My eyes will always be a little teary and my infection can come back from time to time, although never bad like it was when I was a baby.  But that doesn’t slow this handsome tuxedo boy down!  Now I’m ready to find my forever home to rule as my very own!
