I ran across the quote today and thought it both funny and appropriate. What’s your favorite writing/grammar/language quote?~k

Several members, or maybe that should be several “former” members, of another popular social networking site (that was originally billed as a writer’s site) have encouraged me to throw my hat into the wordpress ring. So, I’m asking, “is the grass really greener over here?” If so, I’d like to divest myself of all the chaos and negativity that was there, cozy myself in here and connect with some new (and old) friends.
So, I’m hanging out my shingle and would love to make your aquaintance. Stop by and say hello if you feel so inclined. The coffee’s always perkin’ (unless you prefer tea, in which case I’ll have Polly put the kettle on) and I’m always open to new ideas and good conversation…just as soon as I figure how this place works.
