Welcome to the module-init-tools wiki. This site provides developer documentation for the utilities used by Linux systems to load and manage kernel modules (commonly referred to as "drivers"). If you are an end-user, please contact your vendor for information or support.
This wiki is not yet quite ready for prime time. It's being worked on.

Please file a bug at bugzilla.kernel.org (clicking this link should fill in the correct bug template), using the "Other" product, and under the "module-init-tools" component thereof. In your bug report, include the following
- The specific version of module-init-tools ("modprobe --version" or git commit)
- Steps to reproduce the problem
- Other pertinent information about your system/distribution.
