Model Obsessed
Nils Butler, Sebastian Wirsing, Alend King
If a singer could get their “Artist of the Month” on MTv, models don’t get such privilege. They either stays for long like David Gandy (or maybe Gisele Bunchen and Heidi Klum for the more famous female counterpart), or being swept away in a matter of months by many, many new faces. That’s why models.com only has “Models of the Minute” for the model they featured. Cos there’s way to many same beautiful faces and too little personality in modeling world. Here’s a few models that i think worth another minute of fame.

Tyson Ballou
God. Such a beauty. He’s one of the prominent face in the fashion industry. Look at the D&G Anthology perfume collection (FW 2009) which featured the some of the most well known models such as Naomi Campbelll, Claudia Schiffer adn Noah Mills.
Le Bataleur is the name of the fragrance Tyson Ballou promoting.
Too bad he’s nowhere to be seen on the Spring Summer 2010 campaign ads. Below are his picture from various campaign and editorial.
Here’s the look from the runway
And finally, the backstage picture..
Sean O’Pry
Who’s the most popular male model at this moment ?
If you put behind the “one” Baptiste Giabiconi who got full backup from Karl Lagerfeld, i would say it’s Sean O’Pry. Forbes did name him the most successful male model in 2009. The reason is ? The face is just simply exquisite.
How it all started ? He was found via his MySpace account, which caught the attention of Lana Winters, owner VNY Models, who phoned Sean’s mother to get her permission to fly him to NYC. It took only three days before he landed a major ad campaign. “He came here with a little suitcase, not knowing what to expect and basically became a star overnight,” says Winters. “I’ve been in this business for a very, very long time and I’ve never seen anybody get such a response,” she said. So boys and girls, start putting out your pictures on the web with a phone number, who knows you probably get a call someday.
He is currently the second top male model on models.com. His latest campaign is for Emporio Armani this season (SS 2010)
Known better as Sean-O by family, friends and the fashion industry, so much trivia to tell about him, like how excited he is when he get to kissed Jessica Stam on one photoshoot or how he hate the perception that every male model is either willing take their clothes off for everything, or a gay. But pictures worth a thousand word isn’t it ? So, just stare at these pics.
The last one is a personal pic. :-p
Evandro Soldati
Even though male model commonly don’t get attention from public as much as the female model, this one should be one of the few exception. Mentioned as the male version of Adriana Lima, This hot brazilian model has been doing work for every major design label in this planet.
His most famous advertising to date probably the Armani Jeans, which in 2007 he pairs with Agyness Deyn and Julia Stegner for the next year..And don’t forget to mention Dolce & Gabbana ad..He’s been there for at least three consecutive year I guess, starting 2006 with of-course-we-know-the-getting-old David Gandy, and some other known face like Jesper Lund and Adam Senn..
On his interview with one magazine, he mention that being able to travel around the world for free is what he love about being model (well, that and million dollars contract you earn). He loves soccer and capoeira (Wow..He’s totally perfect, except for having a girlfriend..sure many of you would die for him)
Oh, btw, Besides Armani Jeans/Emporio Armani & Dolce & Gabbana ad, You should check his nude photograph session ‘Visionaire’,this photo shoot talking ’bout sexual fantasy and passion (i think)..Another recommended photo shoot is ‘The Good Shepherd’, by Michael Roberts for Dolce and Gabbana, which he doing some shepherd-ing with underwear..
