When originally conducting 500 credibility interviews, Mitchell Levy was asked by David Meerman Scott to come up with a new word that eventually got into the dictionary. The first word he came up with was credust. After that, he created additional words while enhancing the definition of credibility. Here are the words he’s introducing into our vocabulary:
- CPoP - CPoP is where one is executing one's purpose today. It is the specific problem, issue, or aspiration point one addresses for the audience they serve. CPoP is short for “Customer Point of Possibilities.”
- Credibility - Credibility is the quality of being trusted, being known, and being liked.
- CPoPPing - The verb of CPoP; The ongoing actions taken to live one’s purpose in a credible way.
- Credcrud - Credcrud is written, verbal, and kinesthetic actions taken that subtract from your credibility.
- Credust - Credust is the sparkle you and the other party receive when you share someone else’s ideas, thoughts, or actions while giving them attribution.
- Credreel - CredReel is short for “Credibility Shine Video,” which is a short-video interview showcasing who you are by sharing who you serve, what you do, and the credibility you have to do what you do.
- Credtabulous - Credtabulous is when someone does an exceptionally good or unusual job sharing their or someone else’s credibility.
