About

A Pakistani through and through, I’m a firm believer in not forgetting the first step that helped you reach the top of the world. I don’t demand what i do not deserve…and before i make demands of my country, I want to do something to justify my demands. A disobedient child of the soil does not deserve to demand.

A financier by profession but an aspiring Gourmet Chef, i hope one day I’ll be able to go to Cordon Bleu and learn how to make pastry properly.

The  Berkley MFE program is where I’m going to end up studying one day.

But then again i also hope to go to the moon, but whatever. I’m a believer in ‘the impossible just takes a bit longer.’

This blog is all about what shapes me. As a woman. And as a Pakistani.

A person on the cross roads of life… trying to see the way ahead through the mists of time.

I know where I want to be, I’m blundering around trying to get the directions.

More about me here. And here.

Want even more? Check the Ashes to Ashes series.

More than that? *suspicious look* Did my mum send you as a rishta prospect? Buzz off!

Hey found ur blog through Naseem – and gotta say i really like what I see – totally understand the whole ‘rishta’ business and trying to break the confines of being a ‘good desi girl’. So then you can probably guess – I’m not a very good desi girl lol.

Hope things are going well and will be dropping by more often 🙂

(PS – used to wear glasses aka total Jassi style but have moved onto contacts. And yes the occasional coloured ones too :P)
