I don’t really have time to look back through everything and it’s been a long time. However, glancing quickly back through the above post, the Citadelle convention was split. How did Eurasian get in there? It may be in there somewhere. The better off financially Haitians are close to Montreal. Canada tampers a lot in Haiti. Conventions seem to be the legal contract that lays out the details of what will go on – what will be paid, environmental standards, etc. It seems to be a sort of permit but expanded on because of deficiencies in the law itself. That’s just from memory. Haitian elites have always been international. With Duvalier the upper middle classes, middle classes became international. Especially after Aristide even the poor became international. So, someone talked to someone and “sold” them on the idea, one can guess. I think of them as sorts of balls. They may be thrown from hand to hand on either the Haiti side or the Canada-US side or both. Also, there may well be the same family or people behind it so then it’s not really a ball but a name change. Maybe like a team who changes or takes off a t-shirt and reveals another one mid-play. Sorry if that’s a silly analogy. We spent a lot of time on family trees to try to figure out these things. They also sell mining concessions online so those inside and out could be totally unconnected. Or one family member could own inside Haiti and one out or friends. Unless you keep up with the Moniteur on a routine basis or have access to old editions a lot of things can slip through. In a similar type of thing, Entergy in Louisiana is changing the corporate structure for holding its Louisiana nuclear reactors and changing registration to Texas. They actually just marked through the old license to show new ownership! The US Congressional record had the wrong new licensee listed! The license for the reactors could be compared to the mining conventions for corporate complexity. You might get some ideas looking at that more recent post. For Eurasian, I think it was actually called Eurasian on both sides but I can’t recall for certain. There is no reason why it can’t be. Europe’s URENCO is called Louisiana Energy Services (LES) in New Mexico because they wanted to put it in Louisiana. Louisiana didn’t want them so they went to New Mexico. Anyway, they were going to change it to URENCO – probably URENCO America or something. AREVA France calls its American subsidiary AREVA America. Think confuse and deceive. Haiti’s super elites descend from Near Eastern merchants so have been experts in “business” for generations and have relatives in NY and S. America. There are hidden hand players too in Haiti who you will never find on internet. I know of one but it would do no good to name them because it would be my word against theirs and would change nothing. Remember one interpretation of behind mountains more mountains is that there is something else hidden behind. In his last speech in LA, shortly before his death, ML King said that it would be senseless to try to integrate a world which was non-existant. He was concerned about nuclear annihilation. How did Eurasian get involved with the permit that was originally signed between the state and Citadelle? VCS is involved with it via owning Delta, which used to be Citadelle, right? Also, are ‘conventions’ basically just another word for permits?

Sorry this probably wasn’t clear enough, because I had no keyboard. These mining concessions exist and the exploitant must be Haitian unless this changed (I think the law or link is somewhere in the blog). Also, the incorporation must be in Haiti. On a side note: in the US it seems that incorporation is state by state. So, they may speak of a “foreign corporation” but it be another state. The Haitians on the ground team up with companies outside of Haiti often to get on the Canadian or other stock markets to get funding. There may or may not be a pre-existing relationship between the two. There may or may not be a viable mining concession. The mysteries lie in if things are legitimate or in who is trying to take advantage of who. It happens all over the world. People on the ground could, in theory, re-lease the same parcel of land again and again and the people investing in Canadian Penny stocks lose all of their money.
It can be other countries but Canada seems to have the least strict rules and Penny stocks flourish. People have short memories of these things. Majescor was more easy to track because it is or was a Canadian Penny Stock and has lots of documentation. VCS is or was private I think (it’s been a long time now). Majescor has gone on and on and is maybe an easier example. The private ones are almost impossible to track. The last info I recall finding for Viard was his wife with a high paying accountant job in Florida. Majescor was in business for years before going to Haiti. They were apparently going to fund Haiti with a uranium mine in Quebec. But, after Strateco – with whom they were working – was unable to get a permit then they don’t have that source of revenue. They continue to devalue their stock to stay in business and take in the unsuspecting investor. The short answer is that Delta is or was a Haitian based subsidiary of VCS. The 2009 is on their web site still and surely within the blog. They were first incorporated in Nevada, I think, and then in Delaware. Physically Viard was first in California and then on the east coast (North Carolina?) and likely now in Florida with his wife. His wife is from the US side of the Great Lakes region. We had gotten hate mail from someone who alleged to have been at Morne Bossa, and who had a uranium concession in the Black Hills of South Dakota. There was also a geologist involved in Haiti and uranium mines in Peru. Some of the most valuable info on mining in Haiti – both Viard and some others – was in obituaries. Major US states of incorporation seem to be Nevada, Delaware and Florida. Nevada and Florida allow the public to research. Delaware does not allow much searching. The Helmcke family seems largely in New Orleans, Louisiana now. This is based on memory so you may want to confirm within the blog. Unfortunately we have no time to work on these topics now. We are urgently working on the nuclear issue lest the whole world perish. If not, we would be on vacation. Working 80 hours plus per week I cannot recall the next day what has been posted. They are separate legal entities. VCS is the US end of things. Delta is in Haiti. Viard is Haitian American so had VCS first.

This is the law in the Federal Registrar and it says that you should be relieved of the burden of proving you got cancer from the radiation! It was in 1998. Can’t believe that they would have changed the law. Maybe they don’t know the law. I am terribly sorry for all of your suffering. It seems that you’ve suffered both internal cancers and ongoing skin cancers for over a decade. For any readers we quote you from the koreanwar. org web site, entry 69807, April 9, 2009: “I have been fighting cancer for quite a few years internal as well as external (skin). On the external I go to a dermatologist every three months and often less. Each time I have at least one cancer removed. On the internal I spent last summer Mondays thru Fridays for eight weeks having radiation. I have been fighting as well as others to get my problems rated by the VA. In our shop on the line we were the the ones that pulled the dust filters and compressed air samples, this without proper protection. The AF sent me the history of the flights that picked up samples.”

From their web site it appears that the Radiation and Public Health Project is still accepting baby teeth: https://www.radiation.org However, if you still have your pulled teeth it would be better if you get someone to examine all of the types of radionuclides in your teeth. The Baby Tooth Project seems to be just examining the strontium and you would have other things in there as well. Also, strontium 90 has a half-life of 30 years, though they can account for that, unless it’s disappeared. Two half lives would have passed. I would look most likely for Plutonium and maybe Americium. Probably there are other things there too. In fact, why don’t you start with a radiation detector testing for alpha, gamma, and beta externally on the tooth. It would be interesting to talk with the people at this project and see if all of you can help each other. I think they are NYC which shouldn’t be too far from you in Mass. Also make sure you sort out the difference between high energy internal alpha emitters and low energy gamma emitters. Almost everyone seems to be muddling this up.

AT THE SAME DOSE damage from alpha particles, which occur in Plutonium, Americium, Uranium, Thorium, Radium (etc), cause dense localized DNA damage which is harder to repair than the more spread out DNA damage caused by low-LET of x ray and gamma rays:
“high-LET radiations are more destructive to biological material than low-LET radiations–such as X and gamma rays–because at the same dose, the low-LET radiations induce the same number of radicals more sparsely within a cell, whereas the high-LET radiations–such as neutrons and alpha particles–transfer most of their energy to a small region of the cell. I’m still trying to understand what the VA wants from you? What does it mean for your problems to be “rated by the VA”? Are they refusing you service? If you are a sick veteran they should give you service regardless of the origin of your disease.

It seems like the VA should be giving you information and not vice versa. Have you tried for information under the Freedom of Information Act?

Have you made contact with the veterans who were injured helping out at Fukushima? That might be a good idea for you and them.

Also, if the VA is refusing you service or not acting properly you may want to join in with some other veterans, as well looking for a more respectful VA Hospital. Do you have retired CIA buddies who might have some additional info?

Also, trying to understand which 400 kiloton bomb you were exposed to (via cleaning the air filters) — was it Operation Ivy’s “King”, which is listed as 500 kiloton or was it the Soviet “Joe 4” at 400 kiloton? King was a plutonium bomb. I guess you could have gotten exposed to Joe 4 while flying Weather-CIA reconnaissance flights over the USSR or dealing with filters from planes that did so? The 400 kiloton was only the largest of many you were exposed to, it seems? Especially if it was Joe 4 you may want to make some contact with some Chernobyl doctors — the ones who are concerned about the radiation and not those denying exposure. There were some pilots who seeded Chernobyl fallout to make it rain, too.

Elsewhere you have mentioned four special ops: Gumshoe, Top Hat, Barkeeper and Catalan. These “Installed Special Equipment on Aircraft to Detect Radioactivity. All Four Operations Made Contact with Radioactive Clouds or Masses”. This was from July 1, 1953 to December 31, 1953. It was Squadron 056, Strategic Reconnaissance, Medium, Weather.

I am sad and horrified that they exposed you to this stuff. It wouldn’t have taken much to have you put on a mask, make sure you were properly dressed, and to warn you. Maybe the gamma caused the skin cancer and that light protection wouldn’t have done you much good for that, but it would have helped protect from internal doses from inhalation, skin absorption, and ingestion. Probably they could have given you lead suits to protect you from gamma, as well as face masks.

You’ve been betrayed and if the US government is willing to betray someone either doing or supporting the important Weather-CIA reconnaissance missions over the USSR during the Cold War, what hope is there for everyone else?

I’m not saying that your immediate supervisors knew but the dangers were known. They had done all sorts of animal and human experiments by the time of your exposure. However, I just looked at an interview of Waldo Cohn, Oak Ridge Biochemist, born ca. 1900, and he said that he didn’t have to do experiments. He said you could look at the elements and tell what they would do! This seems true. If you know how the various elements mimic things in the body – caesium mimics potassium, strontium mimics calcium, and plutonium, americium, and others mimic iron, then you have some idea already. These are actually acting as poisons by disrupting basic processes, as well as irradiating you from within. It sounds terrible and you are living proof that it IS terrible. So, internal impact could be predicted just from that vantage. For external they had a long history of x-ray experiments. Of course, some things they didn’t know about physiology, but they knew enough to know it was dangerous from the animal cancers.

It seems that groups of over 10,000 soldiers were also knowingly exposed on the ground to various tests. Someone – you would think your agency (CIA) must have kept tabs on all of this. With these sorts of numbers they should have been able to do really serious statistical research on soldiers. The general problem you are facing now is that there probably aren’t many of these men still alive. Also, your operation was more unique. To start to be considered statistically significant you need at least 50 people. 2,000 would be ideal.

BUT, you can still be a unique and important case study or one of a handful. It would be very easy to match up your symptoms and exposure. But, it still seems that the VA is pulling your leg. Wouldn’t they have been following your health over the last 60 years and you are actually a guinea pig? So, really they should be giving you info and not vice versa!

Maybe with your experience with the CIA, Special Ops, you are better placed than average to understand why the US (and UK) insisted on treating their own soldiers as guinea pigs, when the dangers were known! No one can be surprised that the USSR did this, but it is shocking that the US and UK betrayed its soldiers in this way. Considering your high importance for Airplane Reconnaissance over the USSR, it is even more shocking.

And, this is no longer the Cold War! Why are soldiers and others still being treated as guinea pigs? I am simply unable to understand.

Please let us know how things progress. Also, if you want to write-up something for us to post as a free-standing post, or if you want us to do some research outlining what the connection might be between your ailments and your exposure, please let us know. This would obviously have to be general and hypothetical. We would need to know which weapons tests you were exposed to in order to think about what came into the filter.

Regardless, we may speak generically of these things at a future date to educate others. I don’t want any more problems to fall upon you, so hesitate to use your name, unless you think it will help to publicize it more? The sun is going no-where in our lifetimes. It is there so we should use it!
Why add even more dangerous, deadly alpha, beta, and gamma radiation? That is silly at best and diabolical at worst.

Bringing up the sun as a red giant is even more bogus. Only the pro-nuclear lobby who think they are gods to destroy the world thinks that they will be alive billions of years from now when our sun becomes a red giant. Newsflash: you and we are not gods and will be dead in billions of years! Be fearful of the current danger of the nuclear industry, not something in billions of years!

The nuclear industry which for over 70 years has polluted the entire earth from mining, reactors, many more accidents than are ever mentioned, atomic bombs, and wastes and can only rehash earlier failed alternatives like molten salt reactors AND which has stolen unknown amounts from taxpayers to subsidize itself– probably trillions or more of dollars—and has come up with no solutions is a failed technology, period. Instead of investing in new materials for waste storage or monitoring the wastes, they lie about the dangers and pay lobbyists and buy-off politicians with campaign donations. They apparently buy off professors, as well. Chernobyl was not the same type of reactor as Fukushima. There have been melt-downs and partial meltdowns of many sorts in many places. Saying that only one type is dangerous flies in the face of facts and of the very nature of ionizing radiation. The new nuclear builds in the US, France, and Finland have been characterized by problems with rebar, concrete and welding. They have been called on this by their own pro-nuclear “watchdogs” which tells you how bad it is! So, even if there were a safer design the construction is not up to specifications and safer is still not safe; not worth the risks. Do your research. Go deep into the internet or a real library, not lazy surfing.

Better, go clean-up the mess at Fukushima. They need help. If you survive go work at Chernobyl, clean up all of the US, Australian, and African uranium mines and much more. You’ve over 70 years of mess to clean up. Don’t bother to return here spouting pro-nuclear industry anything until it is clean.

During the Cold War those who worked in the nuclear industry and pro-nuclear professors (sometimes the same) were honest about the dangers of nuclear. There can be no “safety culture” where there are lies, cover-ups and intentionally methodologically flawed research.

For those who worry that the sun sleeps at night and cloud covered days, that is why there is sun storage and transmission. If solar can work in Germany and South Dakota it can work anywhere. The power of the sun also includes things like food-wastes and algae fuel. With transmission wires sunnier climates could light up the rest.

Scientists and non-scientists alike should be putting their heads to finding new innovative solutions and not creating more problems based on old failed technologies, like nuclear, which have had the benefit of endless funding for 70 plus years.

If you don’t want skin cancer then stay out of the noon-day sun, wear hats and long sleeves, wear white and sit under a tree or other shelter! Duh! Also stay away from other ionizing radiation. Check your moles frequently and have a dermatologist study them. Don’t buy into silly fads whether sun-bathing, breast implants or so-called “new” nuclear which is repackaged old nuclear!

It’s allowed all over UK legally and probably elsewhere. Disperse, dilute and deceive. It impacts everyone! They can even pour it down the drain by UK law, it seems. If they are going to evenly disperse it all over the earth then they should just leave it where it was in the first place!
