I will never be a liberal, but the modern right is just plain evil. Every day blatant corruption, big government authoritarianism, and now kiddie diddling(!) is either ignored, excused, our outright celebrated.

It’s just pure insanity. No matter how much terrible stuff this administration does everyone either pretends its “fake news” or, worse, openly embraces this evil. And that is what it is – evil.

How many times does a rightwing blogger, podcaster or anchor have to lie to you before you stop trusting them? How many times do you have to ignore Trump’s own words and pretend he’s “joking” before he does exactly what he was going to do before you stop pretending he’s not a corrupt lunatic? How many times can you see direct evidence of evil and then just say “well, we don’t know the whole story” and then do our best to forget about it? Don’t you wonder why so many of the bloggers/podcastors/writers etc don’t cover so.many major stories?

Look at what’s going on in this country – not what Ace or Tucker or the stupid memes on Facebook – but what’s really going on. There’s no way a decent person can go along with this. I’m begging you folks to get out of this echo chamber. Fact check everything. And by “fact check” I don’t mean “Do my damndest to find someone on the internet who will tell me what I want to hear so I won’t have to think about consequences of being wrong.”

Yes, liberals suck, but you can’t save your country by burning it down. You can’t preserve freedom by surrendering all of your rights. We don’t need a dictator. Much less an incompetent corrupt one.

A loooong time ago I read about this disease. At the time, it was a thing of people who live in mud huts or something like that. The bugs that spread it tended to occupy the mud walls until night time when they come out and bite people.

I’d say a modern home and a good vacuuming will probably deal well with this problem.
