Senior Design Engineer Full-Stack Developer Product Designer
I build stuff that challenges the way things have always been done.
For 15+ years, I've been designing, coding, or rethinking entire systems. I thrive in the space between strategy, creativity, and execution.
I’ve been approached by and led projects for:
, , , , , , , and more.
I've built platforms that changed industries, and co-founded the first open-source font foundry when the industry said it couldn’t be done. I don’t just solve problems — I spot the gaps, rethink what’s possible, and create something better.
I make sense of chaos. I build structure where there isn't any. And I believe the best work happens when you question the rules, learn fast, and find the humanity in the tech.

The Story
Emergency 911 audio processing system for real-time crisis response. Operators process live police/fire radio at 3x speed during active emergencies.
The challenge: Redesign and rebuild a 24/7 emergency audio processing system while maintaining bulletproof reliability under extreme operational demands.
Technical solution: Hardware-accelerated waveform rendering, memory leak and memoization optimization, keyboard-driven interface for sub-200ms response times.
The result: Transformed an unreliable prototype into a mission-critical production system handling 100+ clips/hour, feeding data to nearly 500K users.

The Story
Emergency command center for NYC's real-time safety app. Rebuilt a crashing system during live emergencies.
Challenge: Operators used dangerous workarounds—changing titles to send updates, then changing back, praying they wouldn't lose track.

AI Orchestration
The Story
5-year-old newsletter tool broke while my intern was on vacation. Instead of fixing it, I rebuilt it with AI.
Challenge: Manual assembly took 4 hours every week. Writing descriptions, formatting, tracking content—all tedious busywork.
Solution: AI agents that understand typography culture, write in our voice, and work through conversation. Built with Next.js 15, Vercel AI SDK, and react-email.
