Biography
Hi, I'm Daniel, a research engineer at AMD, working with Dr. Takahiro Harada. Before that I completed my postdoctoral stay at the University of Tokyo working with Prof. Toshiya Hachisuka and later with Prof. Nobuyuki Umetani. I received a Ph.D. degree advised by Prof. Jiří Bittner at the Czech Technical University in Prague, where I also worked as a researcher. I'm fascinated all about ray tracing-based rendering including real-time ray tracing, acceleration data structures, global illumination, and recently also about machine learning for rendering.
