History explains the roots of the people’s problems. It also offers lessons and glimpses of the solution. Study history well. We have the power to change its course.

We are releasing these three songs on the occasion of the 53rd anniversary of Martial Law in the Philippines to join the voices of the Filipino masses who refuse to let history repeat itself. The Filipino people are flooding the streets with protests to call out the corrupt government that runs on bureaucrat capitalism, the Marcos and Duterte families’ legacies of “nepo-babies”, their outright stealing of the people’s wealth, and fascist repression. History shows that the people will rise up and topple dictators. A new society is possible.

Ang ating kasaysayan ang nakakapagpaliwanag ng ating mga problema sa lipunan. Ito rin ang mga nagbibigay ng mga leksyon at solusyon. Pag-aralan ang ating kasaysayan ng maigi. Nasa atin ang kapangyarihan para ibahin ang patutunguhan ng ating kasaysayan.

Itong tatlong kanta na 'to ay inihahandog namin sa 53rd anniversary ng Martial Law sa Pilipinas at bilang pakikisama sa mga boses ng mga taong bayang na di sumasang-ayon sa pag-ulit ng ating nakaraan. Ang mamayang Pilipino ay binaha and mga kalsada ng protesta upang hamunin ang kakurakutan ng ating gobyerno na tinatakbo ang burukratang kapitalismo, ang mga Marcos at mga Duterte at kung alin mang pinagmanahan nilang mga "nepo-babies", ang harapharapang pagdukot ng kayamanan na karapatdapat ay sa atin, at ang pagaapi ng mga pasista. Ipanakita na ng ating kasaysayan na may kapangyarihan tayong ibagsak kung sino mang diktador. Hindi imposible na magtaguyod ng bagong lipunan.
