Clipping to save money, not time
Over‑priced items causing a money shortage
Under‑paid individuals struggling
Pinching pennies like it’s a competitive sport
Only to watch prices jump again tomorrow
Not that anyone raising them seems concerned

Distance

carview.php?tsp=

Distance is needed,
like air between notes of a song—
space to breathe, to grow strong.
It’s the quiet pause after laughter,
the gentle hush before dawn.

Distance is needed,
not absence, but room for the heart
to remember why it belongs.
With time and space, love deepens—
like roots stretching underground,
reaching for water, reaching for light,
returning, always, to where it feels right.

Essence of Love

carview.php?tsp=

Affection of longing is what I hold dearly
Bonding over many things in common
Cuddling offers comfort
Devotion to one another without changing who we are
Elevated heart rate whenever you are near
Falling deeply for the one who doesn’t want to change you
Giving you space when you need it
Honoring each other
Interest aligns in every way
Journey that we will take together
Kinder spirits in most everything
Loneliness is never the case
Memories created each day
Never wondering if they truly care
Open to each other’s opinions
Patience with one another
Quiet moments cherished just as much as the loud ones
Reminders of love shown in simple gestures
Support that never wavers, even on the hardest days
Trust built through honesty, patience, and time
Understanding each other’s hearts without needing many words
Valuing the bond we’ve nurtured together
Willing to grow side by side, always
Xenial warmth shared in every embrace
Yearning for a future filled with shared dreams
Zeal for a love that continues to deepen

Laughing Along with A Limerick

carview.php?tsp=

There once was a dog so polite,
Who insisted on dancing each night.
But his wiggles were bold,
And completely uncontrolled—
So the neighbors declared him a sight!

Hopeful

carview.php?tsp=

Honestly, I’m thrilled to wait again,
Obviously, patience is my strongest trait.
Please, take your time — I have nothing else to do.
Every delay just fills me with sunshine.
Funny how “soon” always means “never.”
Unrealistic expectations? No, not me.
Love how hope keeps tripping me on repeat.

JusJoJan- The Chewy Conundrum

A dragon once munched on a shoe-y,
Declared, “This snack is delightfully chewy!”
He gnawed and he nibbled
’Til the laces unribbled,
Then sighed, “Next time I’ll try something gooey.”

JusJoJan-Transmission

In the hush between breaths,

transmission begins—

a shimmer of thought

crossing the unseen bridge.

It hums in the wires,

it glows in the skin,

carrying more

than words can hold.

Standard

carview.php?tsp=

What is the standard
that you live by—
the one you preach aloud,
or the one you follow
when no one is watching.

JusJoJan- Philosophy

Philosophy was tough for me in college because it always felt like there were a hundred different answers to every question—and none of them were quite right! I’d leave class with my head spinning, wondering if I even knew what a chair was anymore. It was a real mental workout, for sure.
