It's becoming a convenience and it is a cheaper alternative than driving to and from work.

Today I defied the wish of my mother to avoid funeral viewing or any other services. She explained to me the superstition behind it. Daunting as it sounded, I didn't let it waver my faith. Only God knows who is meant to stay and who is next to be taken.

What I did do though was to just stay in the foyer and not listen to any sad eulogy to avoid feeling weepy. I just looked after the kids making sure they don't make too much noise.

We should be happy because our friend, after 5 years and 5 months battling with the big C is now in a wonderful place only faith can reveal. You can keep smiling now J.V.!

We did the maternity suite tour tonight in the newest hospital in town. 


We were taken to one of the labour/delivery rooms as pictured below.


And the best part was the postnatal ward. It looked like a hotel room and has got double bed size. 

Almost into the middle of the week. Tuesday, that is!

Because hubby's been complaining of back pains for the past few days, I told him to go for a swim just like what the doctor has been telling him to do as form of therapy.

So this morning we went to Castle Hill RSL and enjoyed to ourselves the indoor pool. :)

It has been a very very hot day again. We almost missed the fireworks tonight.

Here goes my Aussie boys chant "Aussie, aussie... Oi, oi, oi!"

 

It's not so often anymore that we'd catch Darlene Zschech leading the worship since she stepped down as the worship pastor two years ago. Known for her song "Shout to the Lord", she is one of my husband's favorite worship leader.  


And today, we were blessed to have her again on an ordinary Sunday service at HillSong church. (Although this date isn't so ordinary for us because it's our monthsary.)

Thursdays are dedicated to do some groceries during mid-week.

... and so I awarded myself with GJ's Very Vanilla Chiller...

Leon on his second day at the Hills Adventist College's Early Learning Centre and first day in complete uniform.

It was a good Family (Sun) Day. 

Just got "converted" today. I had apprehensions but in the end of my survey in Facebook, there's nothing to regret about it.


Even took my little boy's photo using my new toy. And it looked as if I had it edited. LOL!

Surprised to see this FB status from hubby. Hardly you find a man these days who proudly announces a domestic chore he has just accomplished.

I realized I haven't posted an entry in my Project 365 with a close-up photo of myself and most of all my baby bump.


So here it is.

Today we just had dinner at Maccas (slang here for McDonald's). Hey it's Fun Friday, no cooking chore for me tonight. :)

Today, we officially started shopping for LaLiLo's stuff. We took advantage of the huge sale at Target. I know we shall be back over the weekend to get some more... Exciting times ahead.

On a weekday, this is how I normally leave my "two blues" whenever they are on school holidays. 


If they're lucky to find me just about to leave for work, I'd make them more than just cereals and fruits. I would add toast or completely shift from continental to Filipino breakfast like making garlic rice, fried egg, tocino/longganisa/spam.

Someone's busy with his new gadget today. And so, does that leave me unattended to? Nope! Because as he goes through reading the friendly manual and the pain of data transferring, he concurrently searches and downloads the this week's episode of Desperate Housewives and Heroes. Hehehe! 


Actually, I'm ever thankful to him today for driving all the way from his work to pick me up from my work (READ: that's 30 minutes going east) and driving all the way to West Sydney to get what I was craving for today... waffles!!! (READ: that's 1 hour going west) , then, back home (READ: that's 30 minutes going east). 


Thanks for the undivided attention and for meeting my cravings. I once stopped believing that with you I always come first. But I have to tell you, I'm believing again....

A new Godson is a new blessing to us.
