Mission
How can one be in denial of the digital age? In fact, why not use these new digital tools to influence culture, one person at a time. Why must we follow the corporate and tradition prescribed cultural icons? Essentially, each human is the center of their own cultural universe. I’m tired of vegging in front of the television. This blog is to help put out my own art, expression, and cultural yearnings as well as those of my peers around me. Inspired by DIY subcultures, this blog aims not to draw lines of separation but encourages everyone to express themselves no matter how weird or mundane they may think those expressions are.

Yes, history. I started out interested in Irish history, British colonialism, which really turned into more of an Indian focus. Recent India, that is. I’d love to learn more about Indus Valley/Vedic culture, but alas I’m mostly familiar with the colonial period. My prof who oversaw my thesis is actually from Bengal originally. A lovely lady for sure.
