Hi! guess what? I started my own etsy shop. I’m selling the charms I made on there and I’ve already made one sale! It was my favorite one too. I think I have a link to it on my side bar I have to check to make sure though. It’s a pink circle with a tiger in it. PTL

Here’s something that was emailed to my mom today:
yesterday is but a dream, and tomorrow is only a vision, but today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope
Here’s what I wrote yesterday:
dreams come from the heart
but dreams are of yesterday
reality faces us today
but cam be dreamed through
visions are in tomorrow
but they can become today
or a dream yesterday

this has a tune, but i can’t write that down.
meece, mice are not that nice
meece, mice are not that nice
their tails are long
their whiskers too
they have tiny teeth that nible and chew
many things they aren’t supposed to
meece, mice are not that nice
meece mice are not that nice
they have little paws that go pitter and patter
i’d rather not go to see the matter
now you can see too
why meece mice are not that nice

Hi! I know my mom was doing the art every day challenge this month. I mostly was too. I was doing it until that wonderful Thanksgiving break. I started back up again. This post is mostly a reminder for me that I need to get that art up!

I try to remember…
remember something
some sweet memory
maybe it’s important
maybe it’s not
I think I might remember
remember that sweet memory
my memory…
I danced under the stars
the twinkleling, shining stars
a moon too
a big, glowing moon
I forgot my cares and worries
worries can wait… dancing is better
I dances in the grass
the soft, sweet dewy grass
I twireled
The singing trees twirled with me
the trees sang me music
sweet music
music only I could hear
and understand
they told me they’re deepest secrets too…
I danced fast then slow so slow
I layed down in the grass
the sweet smelling grass
and I opened my eyes
a bird was chirping outside my window
waaaa-keee waaaa-keee waaaa-keee…
sweet grass

My mom got me started on the Salt Challenges. This challenge was on joy.
I did this on a piece of scrap wood I got in the basement. Those black marks on the hymnal page are nails. (Don’t worry, they’re nailed in all the way.) The picture is of my grandpa and great aunt. They are a bit older now. I used an ink pad to dye the wood that way. And I used oil pastels for the writing. Oh, I also used the ink pad on the background picture.

You Are an Oatmeal Raisin Cookie |
![]() On the surface, you’re a little plain – but you have many subtle dimensions to your personality.Sometimes you’re down to earth and crunchy. Other times, you’re sweet and a little gooey. |
I was going to do the crayon quiz (I saw it at hidden art’s blog), but liked this one better :).

I wrote this for school last week.
A girl was sleeping peacefully on a small, reed mat. Suddenly she opened her brown eyes. The sun was just rising. She jumped up off the mat, combed her hair with her fingers, snatched a bucket up and walked out the tent flap. She looked around to see who else was up. Seeing no one, she started walking at a quick pace, glancing around her. She spotted a boy. He had a bucket too. She smiled and waved at him. He smiled and waved back. He fell into step beside her. They both where going to the same place. The girl glanced at the boy, the boy back. They started running, slowly at first, but steadily they grew faster and faster. The buckets were swinging wildly in their hands, hitting the air and their legs. They turned a corner and saw their destination. The girl tried to go faster. The boy tried too. They were both breathing hard, but neither was willing to let up. They were close to the finish line. They made it and stumbled to a stop. They looked at each other, faces red, breathing hard. Then they looked down at the well. “I won.” said the boy. The girl looked at him and said, “Almost.” Then she took her bucket and drew some water from the well. She looked up at the boy one more time, smiled and walked back to her camp.
