Group Travels for Schools and Universities to Riga
If you are looking for a safe place for your high school or adult students to experience Russian immersion, Riga is the right destination for you. Liden & Denz provides the perfect environment for faculty-led programmes, intensive and immersive Russian courses, and other tailor-made solutions for the specific needs of your group, covering all levels of Russian and enriched by a wide range of syllabus-oriented social and cultural activities.
Our competitive packages include half-board accommodation in Russian-speaking host families (twin or triple rooms for students, single rooms for teachers and accompanying adults). Other services, such as airport transfers or hotel accommodation for group leaders, can be booked optionally.
- 8-18 students from 520 EUR per week
- 19-35 students from 510 EUR per week
- 36 or more students from 490 EUR per week
Pre-arrival group needs analysis, 20 weekly hours of tuition, teaching materials, course certificate including graduation ceremony, half-board accommodation in host families, registration fees, airport meet & greet, and a free city tour.
The minimum size of a closed study group is 8. The maximum number of students per group cannot exceed 12 participants.
The package includes accommodation with breakfast and dinner. On request, we can include lunch vouchers for the nearby self-service restaurant Lido. Students can be placed in twin or triple rooms. The rooming list and any allergies must be submitted by the sending institution. The assignment of students to hosts will be done by Liden & Denz two weeks before arrival and must be accepted by the sending institution as final. Severe dietary restrictions (like celiac disease) will incur extra charges.
On request, we recalculate the package fee with hostel or hotel accommodation, which might be a cost-effective alternative depending on the season and group size.
Arrival day should be Sunday. Arrivals not on Sundays must be communicated in advance and might cause an increase in fees. Students must arrive and depart on the same day with the same flight.
Your group will be met at the airport by a representative of the school. Arrival transfer to the school or to our hosts can be booked as an extra. Depending on your flight schedule, transfer costs can be decreased significantly if you use the excellent and reliable public transportation system (detailed instructions and assistance at the airport provided).
Can be added to the package.
This is usually done by the sending institution/group leaders. On request and at no extra cost, Liden & Denz can evaluate the participants upon arrival or beforehand and assign them to groups according to their language level. On request and at no extra cost, participants may also join one of our existing open group courses.
Minimum age
On request, it is possible to vary the number of lessons per week, the number of teachers travelling with the group, course length and intensity, and arrival and departure days.
