Fondren Library Construction Noise Alert
Fondren Library's 3rd floor construction will have extreme bursts of sound that may sound like gunshots as powder-actuated nail guns attach building materials to the concrete structure. This may be alarming to library visitors. We expect most of this type of loud work to be completed by January 24th. The loud construction noise usually will occur during the early morning hours to minimize disruption.
Our sincere apologies for the construction noise as we build ADA accessible bathrooms for the 3rd floor. Please stop by the Library Service Desk to pick up some complimentary earplugs.
