The Oklahoma State University Libraries exist as a resource to expand the learning potential of students and citizens of our state and to enhance the teaching and research capabilities of our faculty. The Edmon Low Library, which sits at the heart of campus, has served as the home of the main collection since 1953. The OSU Library has been a member of the prestigious Association of Research Libraries since 1962.

Government Documents
The Documents Department is a regional depository library for U.S. government publications that are retained permanently as part of the agreement with the U.S. Government Printing Office. The department also collects Oklahoma and other state publications, government publications from other countries, and international agency publications including the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank. Many of these documents are primary resource materials. What we do: Assist students and faculty locate government publications for assignments and research; Provide instruction and tours; Develop course-specific and subject-specific online resource guides; Receive and organize government publications for easy retrieval and reference; Government Documents Information.
