Rooms and Spaces

The Graduate Study Room is available to all currently enrolled ETSU graduate students with an ETSU ID whenever Sherrod Library is open. Access is controlled by an ID card reader.

The room has wireless network access and wired network connections in the interior rooms.

Lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. No waiting list is maintained. Lockers may be reserved for up to one semester (no renewals). Complete a Graduate Study Room Locker Application to request a locker reservation.

Locker users will be charged $10 to replace a lost key. An additional service charge at the current rate will be levied if a lock change is required.

• The Graduate Study Room may only be used during the hours that the library is open.
• Please keep noise to a minimum. The Graduate Study Room is in the library's silent zone, intended for quiet study and research, not for group work or meetings. No conversation, no headphone use, silence cell phones.
• Library staff will enter the Graduate Study Room periodically to check on the room's condition and contents.
• All library materials in Graduate Study Room lockers must be checked out or they may be removed and reshelved.
• Clean up and report spills and accidents to the Ask Us desk at (423) 439-4307 or refdesk@etsu.edu or to 4th floor Library Administration at (423) 439-5222 or libadmin@etsu.edu.
• No microwaves, hot plates, refrigerators, coffee makers or any other appliances of this type should be used in the Graduate Study Room.
• The Graduate Study Room door will lock when you close it. Take your ETSU ID with you when you leave the room!
• Exit the Graduate Study Room and the library immediately whenever building emergency and closing announcements are made.
