Do you have a 10-14 year old relative or friend…

...who might like to read a really great book? Exciting and funny, but with no sex or violence? (How's that even possible? Trust me. It is. You just have to be creative.)

Well, let me recommend The Adventures of Young Elizabeth & Rollo, the Wondercat* (*Who thought he was a dog?). Quite the title, even if I do say so myself. And I'm in a position to know, because I'm Elizabeth's dad and I wrote the book for young readers, boys and girls both, ages 10 to 14. It's an easy read that goes real fast. It's fun and yet it makes the reader think, which is always a good thing.

"So, exactly how expensive is this greatest book of middle grade children's mystery fiction every written?"

Thank you for asking. The really great thing about Young Elizabeth & Rollo... is that it's free! You can find it at Barnes & Noble and at Smashwords where you can download it for reading on any computer, tablet or smartphone, regardless of its operating system.

Now what is that you tell that 10 to 14 year old you care about to download The Adventures of Young Elizabeth & Rollo, the Wondercat* (*Who thought he was a dog?). It's free so, if they don't like it – which they will, but just in case they don't – there's no money lost. But they will like it, and you'll soon be reinstated as their favorite parent, aunt, uncle or friend.

“Quickies - Short Fiction To Go”
Short short stories for busy people without a long long time to read them.
Need something different to read over breakfast to justify staying long enough for a third piece of Challah French Toast, on your way into work (assuming you’re not driving) to avoid making casual conversation with the person with coffee breath sitting next to you, take a break from the mind-numbing work you've been doing without alerting your company's Internet Police, while you’re in bed pretending to be unavailable to the person lying next to you, when "Not tonight, Honey" won't do, hiding out in the bathroom or eating out by yourself so you can look busy instead of lonely? (Not that I know anything about any of that.)

and print one of my short short stories, fold it up and put it in your pocket to read later. Not necessarily much later. You can read it now, if you like. Freedom to read my stories whenever you want. Is America a great country, or what?

Don't just read the newest one. There are 73 so far, so go down the list and pick one, and then another one. That's right. Read two and leave me a comment in the morning. They're addictive, but not in a bad way. ..And do you know what they all have in common? Except for a few details, they're all true stories.
Need something written?
