Rübensuppe im Herbst – Ein Rezept, Turnip soup in the fall – A recipe

Herbstzeit ist Rübenzeit.
Alle Zutaten sind aus unserem Garten bis auf die Gewürze. Rüben stehen auch jetzt noch auf den Beeten. 
Ich wünsche euch eine schöne Herbstzeit.

Die Zutaten für die Suppe

  • 2 Steckrüben
  • 3 Herbstrüben
  • 1 große Kohlrabi der Sorte Superschmelz
  • 1 Topinamburknolle
  • 1 kleine Sellerie mit Kraut
  • 1 Knoblauchzehe
  • 1 große Zwiebel
  • Kurkuma
  • Curry
  • Paprikagewürz
  • Kreuzkümmel
  • Kümmel
  • Pfeffer
  • Salz
  • etwas Zitronensaft
Am Schluss wird die Suppe püriert und mit etwas Sahne verfeinert.

Fall is beetroot season. All the ingredients are from our garden except for the spices. Turnips are still on the beds now. I wish you a wonderful fall season.

The ingredients for the soup

  • 2 Turnips
  • 3 autumn turnips
  • 1 large kohlrabi of the Superschmelz variety
  • 1 Jerusalem artichoke tuber
  • 1 small celery with cabbage
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 large onion
  • turmeric
  • curry
  • paprika spice
  • cumin
  • caraway
  • pepper
  • salt
  • a little lemon juice

Der Nebel ist eine Zeit, 
in der die Natur in Ruhe weilt.

Es kommt keine Katze und kein Hund,
man sieht nicht, ob der Mond ist halb oder rund.

In der spürbaren Stille wird eines klar,
die Naturgeister sind wieder da.

when nature is at peace.

There are no cats or dogs,
you can't see if the moon is half or round.

In the palpable silence, one thing becomes clear,

Rettung – Rescue

'Rettung' ist eine Gedankenform,
dachte der Fisch und schwamm,
weil es seine Bestimmung war.
Die Elemente,
Feuer, Wasser, Erde und Luft
waren seine Begleiter
und folgten ihrerseits ihrer Bestimmung.
Mit der Zeit entstand ein Gleichgewicht.
Die Elemente stimmten sich aufeinander ein
und der Fisch begriff,
dass er nur eine Chance hatte:
er musste sich mit ihnen verbinden.
Dadurch entstand ein Ort der Liebe.

Rescue' is a thought form,
the fish thought and swam,
because it was his destiny.
The elements,
fire, water, earth and air
were his companions
and in turn followed their destiny.
Over time, a balance developed.
The elements attuned themselves to each other
and the fish understood
that he had only one chance:
he had to connect with them.
