Mason and I had a great three hour hike through the park to get some really neat images for his senior photoshoot! We had the best day with the colors in the trees, and the weather was perfect!! Here are a few of my favorite images from our session!

On Halloween, Bailey and I braved the cold, rain and wind to get some pretty great shots! We had so much fun despite the weather and walking all over the lake in Shelbina, Missouri. Bailey and I will continue her senior pictures during winter and spring since our time was limited this fall! I hope we get some really pretty snow soon, so we can go have some fun together. Here are just a few pictures from our Fall shoot.

My little guy turned three in August, it seems like the years just keep moving faster! This little guy has so much personality it amazes me. Although he doesn’t quite cooperate for me during a photoshoot, I was able to get a few good pictures of him. Love this little guy to pieces! The last picture shows both of our frustration, it was not funny at the time, but I look back at him crying hysterically and just laugh!

I am excited to be having some changes happening to Leigh Photography. After a conversation with an aspiring photographer last night, and seeing how my current Professional Photographer friends run their photography business, I have decided to take the leap as well into the new age. While I will be working on my website, clients will have to set up a time to view their photo’s with me (this may stay in-tact with the new website as well) and either order photo’s then or set up a time to order prints as well. Being in the digital photography world, there is a lot of copyright issues, so us as professionals need to protect our work. Another big change for Leigh Photography is the purchasing of CD’s of images. Up until now, I have required a very little minimum to purchase a CD of images, but I am finding that is cutting into my sales, so CD’s will become a thing of the past.
I am hoping that my customers will support me in this step towards a more improved Leigh Photography, and with the great clients I have had in the past, I expect them to keep coming back for more. I want to thank all my Leigh Photography clients, I really do work with some of the best!!

My little sister is a senior this year!! We had a lot of fun in Shelbina and Warrensburg doing her senior photo’s. It is hard to work with family, but it is safe to say we didn’t kill each other during the process. I cannot believe my baby sister will be living in the same town as me as a college student. It seems like only yesterday my friends and I were yelling at her to leave us alone, and now she is all grown up! She has turned into a beautiful young lady.

While i have gotten to know Kathryn’s mom, Kris, over the years, I finally got the chance to meet Kathryn and take her senior pictures. This young lady and I had a great time venturing around downtown Warrensburg and into the woods of Pertle Springs to get her favorite senior images. We had a great time, and I wish her the best of luck at Drake next year!!

It is hard to believe my sister will graduate in a week and two days!!! Seems like I just graduated High School myself!! I had the opportunity to see her get ready for her senior prom and capture some moments with her. I also got to be a part of another young lady who has grown up right before my eyes as well. I have been a part of Rachelle’s life since she was a baby, and to see her go to her first prom was mind boggling. Here are a few of my favorite images from Prom.

I had the awsome opportunity to photograph this great family this past weekend. We had a lot of fun in the park! Emmett got to be more interested in the leaves rather than having his picture taken! It was a fun time, and I look forward to photographing them again soon!
