About me
I am a linguist with a focus on (quantitative) typology. I am also interested in using corpus linguistic and computational approaches in order to find out more about linguistic structures, their cross-linguistic distribution and their development.
I received my PhD thesis in 2018 from the University of Leipzig. My dissertation was a typological overview of articles and article systems. Between 2020 and 2025, I worked at the University of Freiburg at the Department of Linguistics , where I recently submitted my habilitation on "Typology in cross-methodological perspective". Since 2025, I have been working as a professor in General Linguistics at LMU Munich.
