KYLE WILSON
(CA-1)
DEMOCRAT FOR CONGRESS
POWER TO THE PEOPLE
MEET KYLE

Too many politicians answer to big donors instead of the people who put them in office. I’m running a grassroots campaign to fight for working people and take our government back from corporate money.
Kyle WilsonKyle Wilson is a labor attorney and proud grassroots Democrat running for Congress in California’s 1st District to fight for working people. He has built his career holding corporations accountable and winning real results for employees who were denied fair pay, safe conditions, and respect on the job.
Born and raised in Santa Rosa, Kyle comes from a four-generation working-class family rooted in Sonoma County. His great-grandfather came to Sebastopol during the Dust Bowl to work the apple orchards, and his grandfather served as a Battalion Chief for the Santa Rosa Fire Department. Growing up surrounded by people who served their community, Kyle learned early on that real leadership means showing up for others and standing up for what’s right.
A first-generation college graduate and Columbia Law School alumnus, Kyle has fought for workers across California in industries ranging from agriculture and healthcare to retail and construction. As a plaintiff-side labor attorney, he has helped recover millions of dollars in unpaid wages and stolen benefits for employees who stood up to powerful companies.
Earlier in his career, Kyle represented survivors of domestic violence at Legal Aid of Sonoma County, taught legal writing at Empire Law School, and volunteered as a community yoga instructor. He believes that justice and wellbeing are inseparable, and that everyone deserves both.
Frustrated by corruption and gridlock, Kyle is running as a principled voice for working families. He is focused on results, not party politics, and will fight to build an economy that puts people before profit, guarantees fair wages and housing for all, and restores power to the hands of working people

Issues
Campaign Finance
End dark money in politics. We need a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United, ban corporate PACs, and make elections fair, transparent, and powered by people—not billionaires.

Health Care Access
No one should go bankrupt because they got sick. I support Medicare for All, lowering drug costs, and reducing administrative waste to build a system that puts patients first.

Home Ownership
The American Dream is out of reach for too many. I support tax reform, down-payment assistance, and zoning changes to make homeownership attainable for every American.

Economic Justice
Everyone deserves dignity, fair pay, and a real shot at financial security. I’ll fight for tax reform, social support systems, and fiscal policies that support working people and small businesses.

Term Limits
Career politicians are part of the problem. It’s time to implement common-sense term limits to restore accountability, encourage fresh ideas, and reduce the power of entrenched special interests.

Climate Change
In Northern California, climate change is real—we live with the threat of wildfires every year. I support practical, science-based policies that reduce emissions, protect communities, and invest in clean energy.
