Well what can I say but hello is there anyone there!
Well it has been such a long time since I came here!
I am addicted to facebook now!!!
But just wondering who is still around, oh ok then I got to admit I do still pop on google reader and see who's doing what, not many of people on my list still blog.
We had so much fun, have been re reading my blogs and they certainly gave me a good laugh.
Oh well things to do and places to go to, you never know I might just keep popping on here every now and then!!!
Just thinking and contemplating, I do miss blogging, met so many wonderful people, some I am linked up with on facebook.
Do I come back or not?
Maybe just weekly for now just can't seem to decide, mind you I can't decide on much these days, must be my age!!

Till further notice
Hi, I really don't seem to be blogging much at all, one reason is that himself is really moaning that I sit on the couch with the lap top on my knee, that bit is OK, he says it is the tap tap tapping when I type. I have tried to do it quietly, but you just can't can you! So I tend to leave the blogging until he is out or upstairs, which isn't very often hence the fact that I am not blogging often!
Thank you to those who called over and said hi to me mate over at dogberry, she is panicking a bit because she hasn't fathomed out how to get onto your blog page's, so be patient with her.
Now you all know what I am like by now don't you!! Yeah that's right, I am daft, silly, have a wicked sense of humour, I am typing really fast now because he is just getting up!!!

Also I forgot to tell you how the little operation went on my ear! Well I am pleased to report that the worst thing was the local, they put drops into the ear canal and that was definitely an ouch situation! They drained the fluid out of my ear then made a tiny slit and placed the grommet in, all over and done with in 10 minutes how good was that!
Am starting with a sore throat and runny nose, everytime I blow my nose I get a whislting sound in my ear, hey and it isn't just me who can hear it, it is driving Mr Milo mad!!!
New kid on the block dogberry, call and say hi to her she means a lot to me.
Leaving Vegas we headed towards our one night stop at the Grand Canyon Lodges. First call was the Hoover Dam
Loved the fact that we were on the border of Nevada and Arizona, and also there was an hours time difference! Driving through the dessert the wind was wild, plenty of tumbleweed flying about too. Needing a coffee break we came off interstate 40 and by luck we ended up here.
Back on track and off to the Grand Canyon, we fueled up at what must be one of the oldest Gas stations that I have ever seen, and one of the cheapest only $2.99 a gallon! Yes folks in England very, very cheap!
We got our Lodge keys and followed the instructions, we got lost, back for more instructions, we got lost again!!!!! Third time lucky and we made it! By now it was dark and it was cold, we walked to the restaurant in the dark, no torch, no street lights and was hoping to see or at least hear some wildlife, but not to be!
Only one downside to staying in the Lodges at this time of year IT WAS BLOODY COLD!
I have so many photos of the Canyon so hope you enjoy a few of them.

I just do not know how to describe the Grand Canyon to you, amazing, beautiful, peaceful, pure beauty at it's best. We stayed at the South Rim, elevation is 7,000 feet , the North Rim is only 10 miles away as the crow flies but 215 miles by road, it is also 1,000 feet higher, and colder!
We left the Grand Canyon and heading for Lake Havasu, passing the one and only Fred Flintstone!!!!
So so pleased that transport has improved can you imagine driving all those miles in this LOL.
Lake Havasu is the home of the original London Bridge. Robert McCulloch imported the bridge stone-by-stone, think he thought he had bought the Tower Bridge!
Himself came across an article in the local evening paper the other night, NONOPHOBIA, what the hell is that, he said it is what I am suffering from, me suffering, what the hell are you on about!
