I have started to collect a nice list of projects I want to work on, and I’ve even gotten started on a few of them. This page will be sort of an electronic white board where I can keep my list and jot down a few notes from time to time.
- Solar cooker– need to purchase a kiddie pool, mirror, and some wood and hardware
- Garden– three heirloom tomato and one tomatillo plant in containers indoors, need to get herbs started next, need to get larger containers for root veggies
- Podcasts– need to start blogs for podcasts, record RCPM live music podcast, record a 60-second rant
- Beer brewing– need to order a couple of kits, yeast, get recycled bottles cleaned up
- Arts/crafts- design drawing/painting table, get good lamp, get watercolor paper, get knife for painting, look for linoleum carving tools and stamping ink, get apron for pottery workshop, finish crocheting scarf
- Canning, food storage- find prickly pear jelly recipes, clean out buckets in advance of wheat order
- Lending library- discuss how this will work with other interested people
- Consulting work- mark up hard copy pamphlets for updates, look for inconsistencies between hard copy order sheet and website store
- Computer- get keyboard and mouse, talk to J. about installing Linux alongside Windows XP
