Stone Soup is dedicated to topics women are interested in: children, parenting, cooking, dieting, spousal abuse, whatever. Sometimes it’s meant to amuse, other times to educate, motivate or just strike a chord.
Though my topics tend to be oriented toward women, men are certainly welcome. Especially men who empathize with women. Or need to learn about them. Or simply enjoy being around them.
I’m a novel writer, unpublished so far, who writes women’s fiction. Sometimes comic (dark), sometimes poignant, occasionally even paranormal, but always about topics women tend to be interested in and always featuring a female protagonist.

Hello! I’m a first time visitor, and really enjoyed your road rage post. You captured the same feelings, and even voiced essentially the same words, that I often have in similar situations. “Please excuse me… I apologize for only exceeding the maximum legal speed limit by 5 (or 10) miles per hour!”
I wish you the very best in your quest to get published. Your literary genres sound fascinating. Having been raised by three women (mom, aunt, grandmother) in the 50s and 60s, I observed the way women were passed over for promotions, not listened to, compartmentalized during family gatherings, and just plain disrespected. It angered me as a child, and shaped me as an adult in how I view and treat women.
Please post when you publish so I can go to the bookstore and buy your work. I just made your site a bookmark. Peace.
