Well yesterday afternoon we had a heavy rainstorm that was much needed; it did however bring us over 2" of rain, and even causing some of the streets in Fresno to flood a bit. I am so thankful for the amount of rain that we got yesterday. Thank you Jesus!!!

I am writing this post however to tell you that after the rainstorm as I was almost about to leave work to come home when my boss pointed out the window of her house, and said "Look there a a rainbow!" I immediately had to go outside and take a picture of if because it wasn't like you normally see a rainbow when you only see parts of it because the clouds are covering the rest. This was actually the whole rainbow, and you could actually see all of the colors of the rainbow perfectly clear it was amazing! On top of that there was actually a faint glimpse of a second rainbow on top of the other rainbow. It was so beautiful to see a double promise in the sky yesterday!

Well it's been a while since I've updated my blog, and I thought I would try to remember to update it whenever I have a free minute lol..

Here is the first post that I am going to start off with...

It's that exciting time of year when our church splits up into two teams red and blue, and we do a huge Easter outreach push to reach the unsaved in our city. It is a fun time of year for us too because the teams are in a contest to see who can get the most to come to our Palm Sunday service and also the Easter drama. My husband and I are on the blue team this year and we are doing really well even though we lost to the red team on Palm Sunday, but that is just making us push harder for the next week to win lol. Sunday night our team captain gave his speech and it was so powerful and awesome; he talked about blowing the trumpet to take down the walls in the city, and declaring war on the devil.   The move of God was so powerful that night! The next day I thought of a song that went along with what our captain Bro. Kendrick was talking about its called "We Declare War", and that's how we feel going into this last week of our Easter outreach push. Devil you are defeated those walls are coming down, and we are blowing our trumpets of Zion, and we are going to save our city...

So with all this being said for those of you out there who read this post I would personally like to invite you to come experience the greatest story ever told this coming weekend at our church. I will  post a pic of the flier with the services times. I hope to see you there :)

I know this post is late, but I finally have time to sit down and actually post about it on my blog. Lol 

So I just heard from my coworker and the news that my favorite breakfast place and the surrounding businesses burned down in a fire they think it spread to the surrounding businesses due to the type of roofing that was on the building :(... I am super sad because that restaurant has been a part of my childhood. Well looks like I am going to be finding a new breakfast place to go too.. At least I was just there one last time earlier this month, and I got to take Carlos and his mom there to try it, and pictures...

Shall we have a moment of silence for the hearing of this tragic loss....

What would ringing in the New Year be without party horns and sparkling apple cider, and staying up late to do a countdown till midnight?.... It's hard to believe another year has come and gone so quickly it feels like we just started 2012, but here we are getting ready to face 2013.. I pray God will direction our paths and keep us safe in this upcoming year!! God bless us everyone this year!
