Meowms shoulder is feeling much better today. She says she doesn't feel like crying from the pain now. I guess all the purrs did the job! Thanks for the help!
Meowm hurted the muscles in her shoulder, so we are going to purr on her today. Everyone have a great week!
Whew!! The weekend is upon us! I am so very glad! Meowm has been madly busy this week, and hasn't been with us near enough!
I am beginning to think that other cat will be staying, and I am now not sure how I feel about it. I try to keep my distance from him....well sometimes we sniff at each others nose, but past that I try to keep my distance. I guess we will see what happens.

Finally Friday!!! WOO HOO!!!
Stinky Sammy came in last night. Meowm says he can't help it, but his smell even gets to her. She can't wait to get him to the v-e-t and get his intestinal issues taken care of. If they can do a dental while they have him, she will have that done, but she thinks they may need to wait till his other issues are cleared up.
My brofur wasn't feel to good yesterday. He didn't eat much and he laid around and just wasn't perky at all. Meowm of course watched over him and gave him extra attention, and he seems to be better today. Just one of those off tummy days we guess.
It's cooling off her. We are enjoying cuddling with Meowm on the big bed at night more, and Meowm put an extra blanket out for Sammy last night. She hopes the weather stays decent till at least the end of October (when she gets Sammy to the
v-e-t.)
We hope everyone has a great weekend!

Let me see, what is new with me. Well, Meowm put me back on that d-i-e-t food. She says I had gained back the weight I had lost. Winter is coming....a mancat needs to store up some bulk for that harshness! Sheesh!
I'm adapting to this visitor that comes in purrty well. I haven't hissed at him or anything, course he does get sent back outside. I don't know how I would feel if he was in all the time. I am just beginning to realize how much I like my Meowms attention. Well, that isn't true, I have always liked it, I just knew that I could get it at anytime. And since my brofur (Orion) came along, I have to share....so I butt in for my share whenever I feel like it now.
There isn't much else to share. It's purrty calm around here. The temperatures have cooled down a bit so we get more window whiffing time, which I am enjoying very much!
How could I have almost forgotten this! Meowm brought home 3 new rugs for me! Two of them are absolutely awesome and I have already gotten my smell and furs all over them by rolling on them. I'm not to interested in the third one. Meowm will have to get some pictures, because I am not done rolling on them!

We just learned this morning that Gentlemen Beaus Mom, Cathy, has passed away. We are very shocked to learn this. We knew she was having some troubles, but we thought she would be okay. We are purring for Cathy and her family, but we are mostly concerned for sweet Beau. He is apparently staying with Cathy's sister, and we hope he does well with her, we are purring that it is so.
Rest in Peace Cathy. The blogosphere will do their very best to watch out for Beau.

Why do short weeks feel longer than regular weeks? We had Meowm home on Monday, and it seems like it has been forever since we had her home for a day!
That other cat keeps coming in for a visit. We are all doing okay with it so far. Meowm is wishing she had taken him to the v-e-t when she had originally planned.

Well, I got loaded up in the PTU last night and off we went in the big machine on wheels to the v-e-t. I was not a happy camper! However, once I saw my v-e-t it was evident that some other critter was even less happy than I was! She had a black eye and stitches below her eyebrow. Apparently a woofie was a bit upset and she paid the price. Ouch!
I was very nervous to be at the v-e-t.....I was shaking! Meowm felt real bad the the v-e-t lady was very nice to me. I got scooped up and taken to the back room where they took pictures of my insides. It is official now, I have asthma. I had been having some attacks again, and Meowm was very concerned, so now we know.
Meowm wanted to do an inhaler, but they are $100! EEEKKK!!! Why is it so many green papers to take care of us??? Anyway, Meowm deicded we would start with pills (yuck) and see how those work. She just has to figure out a way to get them down me.
I got two shots too! But at least I didn't get anything put up my you know what!
So what am I thankful for today, besides not agetting anything put up myyou know what? Well, now we know for certain and I can stay on medicines and get better. No more asthma attacks. And Meowm didn't get mad at me when she discovered I had peed in the carrier. Yep, I was that nervous! Luckily Meowm had put a towel in the carrier, so the pee didn't get all of the seat of the new machine on wheels.
In Sammy news, he is quite happy to come inside, and he wants to come in after Meowm gives him food in the mornings, but Meowm doesn't have time before going to work, so that has to wait till the weekend. And he won't be able to see the v-e-t till the end of October now. We hope he stays okay till then.
Meowm still doesn't know if Sammy will come in full time, but at the very least she hopes to be able to keep him in at night during the nasty winter.

So Meowm is wondering if those of you that are coming out for Blogpaws 2012, or thinkging about coming out, if you would like to stay a few extra days and go down to Best Friends to volunteer or visit for a few days. It is a 5-6 hour drive from Salt Lake so a day would need to be added to get down there and to return. So if you came for Blogpaws, which is 3 days, then spent 2 or 3 days at Best Friends, with the 2 days drive, your vacation would be 7 or 8 days. Meowm has wanted to go down there, and this would be a purrfect time. And it would be so fun with all of us cat/animal lovers!
Think about it, discuss it with others you know who are going to Blogpaws and let Meowm know.

Finally Friday!

Meezer Monday
WOO HOO!!! It's me in the sunshine! Just me! No other cats intruding!

Sad News
We just learned this morning that Gentlemen Beaus Mom, Cathy, has passed away. We are very shocked to learn this. We knew she was having some troubles, but we thought she would be okay. Thankful Thursday!!

So Meowm is wondering if those of you that are coming out for Blogpaws 2012, or thinkging about coming out, if you would like to stay a few extra days and go down to Best Friends to volunteer or visit for a few days. Junior~I am a Flamepoint Siamese. I was adopted from the Rocky Mountain Siamese Rescue in January of 2006. I live with my bean in Salt Lake City, Utah. I love my bean and give her regular love bites just to prove it. Sadly I went to the Rainbow Bridge on December 19, 2012. Orion~I am an orange DSH. Meowm found me at one of her jobs. It appears I was dropped off. I am declawed so Meowm didn't want to leave me out in the wilds unable to defend myself. So here I am in my new furever home! Sammy~I am a lilac or blue snowshoe meezer. Meowm rescued me from outside, I had been abandoned. I am 2 and we are all learning to live with my FIV+ status. I am very happy to be in my new home!
