Jumping Frog Letterbox
<$BlogRSDURL$>
Placed by: Mark & Sue
Placement date: Apr 9 2004
State: Connecticut
County: Hartford
Nearest city: Kensington
Number of boxes: 1
Directions:
Take Route 71 to Route 364W. Timberlain Park is on your right.
This is a wonderful town facility that contains a great golf course and walking/hiking trails that peacefully coexist with nature. On the day I planted this box, I noticed nesting swans, geese, bluebirds and a host of other birds.
Clues:
From the lower parking lot near the pond, head east along the paved road boardering the golf course.
After the third bench, head into the woods and look into the crook of the multi-sister tree. You'll find the frog taking a breather.
Have fun and just get out there & box!!!
