- I’m gonna say a few things, and I’ve said them before but I’m gonna say them again: When I worked for Condé Nast in the early aughts, there were maybe five Black people in all of their magazines’ editorial departments. From what I could see. (And I paid attention.)
- The other Black people at a Condé Nast were the dozens of cafeteria workers, security guards and mailroom employees. Don’t think I didn’t notice that either.
- Of particular disgust to me - regarding @vogue - was the way it seemed to always have fashion editorials featuring white models or actresses posed alongside POC in some far away, “exotic” location.
