It is a comedy that comes back on itself. The dude is so pase while Walter is so over the top, and Donny is out of his f***ing element and confused. The Dude abides, Walter didn’t watch his buddies die face down in the mud for you to ask this question, and Donny, well he is scared of Nihilists. In short, to quote my favorite line from the movie, “Obviously, you are not a golfer.”
