The Crib
Now that we have the bebe and are (gradually) moving into our new place on Aberdeen we have affectionately named our residence The Crib. If anyone wants to visit "Greg" aka Madeleine or Bean, you can now find us at 254 Aberdeen Ave., Apt. #5. Good times.

Short and Sweet
Maybe it's high time I blog. Well, here I am, blogging. The good news is, I have a baby girl in my arms.

Update
It appears that since this baby has decided to make itself comfortable in my womb until the turn of the new century the only two people who have a gleam of hope for winning the baby pool are Jay and Rich Oosterhoff. Thanks to the rest of you who gave it a go, but the baby is obviously more than willing to take its sweet time. Definitely a Legg baby.
You know, it isn't fair. When you have your babies is supposed to be strongly correlated to genetics: if your mother or relatives are inclined to have their babies early or late you will likely be predisposed that way as well. Well, not only did my mom have me ten days early, but all the women on both my mom and dad's sides had their first either on the due date or early. The latest was only one day past her due date. So why me? Anyhow, just ranting. I really don't want to have to be induced next week so if you could keep that in your prayers....
Back to waiting.

The BLT: The Non-Depraved Sandwich?
Apparently, Locke Street Bakery is renowned for its BLT bagel which has a reputation for inducing labour in multiple women. I would like to think that this is because bacon, as I have discussed with numerous friends, is the food of the New Earth. Has it escaped the fallenness that the rest of creation is inevitably tainted by? I wonder. It is creationally normative to long for bacon and, therefore, children in utero long to be part of the world of bacon consumption. This is why the BLT induces labour; this is why I ate one today.

For Felix, Laura and Gayle
So I still haven't had the baby which means either I will be over a week late (please, Lord, no) and you will still get to be there and see the baby brand new, or you will get to see the little Legg when it is a week or a few days old and just as cute. I am hoping for the latter because otherwise Jason's life will be miserable for the next two weeks. Have fun in B.C.!!!!!!

BAH!
Ok it's time to put your prayer-warrior suits on and pray this baby out of me! I know my due date has not even come yet, but I am getting beyond bored and frustrated with the myriad pains of childbearing. Could you put your requests in for tonight? That would be great since Laura, Felix, and Gayle are leaving on Wednesday and they are anxious to meet the little Legg as well. So yeah, tonight would be good.

About Me
- Name: Rach the Second Legg
- Location: The H-dot, Canada
I am a Redeemer University Student going into my fourth and final year studying Social Studies and Art. I am married a very handsome and talented guy, Jason. I am passionate about the arts, particularly visual art and vocal music, and am a cafe-going, jazz-listening, art-producing kind of gal. I want to one day become a teacher, or maybe own my own cafe with live jazz and book nook. Must go to Prague, Ireland, Rome,Athens,Provence, Jerusalem, and Macchu Pichu (sp?). I would like to settle on either coast of Canada and nowhere in between.
