I'm a fourth year PhD student of computer science at Marburg University, advised by Prof. Christin Seifert. My research in natural language processing focuses on generation, in particular text summarization and simplification. Using applications in the medical domain, I aim to better understand how to evaluate generated text and how to improve the robustness of Large Language Models.

For the fall semester of 2023, I visited the University of Texas at Austin to work with Jessy Li. Prior to my PhD, I worked as machine learning engineer at Nedap Healthcare. During my master studies at the University of Twente, I did a research internship at the University of Stavanger, visiting Prof. Krisztian Balog.
