I’ve stuck to my favourite lady from the roaring twenties plate by The Artistic Stamper to make this birthday card which has a romantic feel yet again!

The ‘Roaring Twenties’ certainly conjour up romance and The Artistic Stamper’s‘flappers’ combined with a few hearts and a fabulous sequin waste background stamp give these ATCs a romantic feel.

These will be swapped out with the paperbags and made into books. The theme is nature and these are my pages (I seem to have my own theme – trees – going here).

The stamps are from The ‘flower power‘ sheet. Suitable for most occasions the flowers are simply stamped and embossed onto patterned paper, cut out and mounted.

https://jacksjunk.wordpress.com/2010/01/18/978/#commentsMon, 18 Jan 2010 21:18:22 +0000https://jacksjunk.wordpress.com/?p=978A couple of completed items. The first is a little art quilt made for a swap. The theme is alcohol ink and I have used metal coloured with the ink on the quilt. The background fabric is painted with Lumiere paint and stamped with Encore ink. Metal sheet is cuttlebugged. The cream square is cotton fabric and the text on it is stamped. The little heart is a chipboard piece covered with fabric that has been stitched and beaded.
The second piece is an ATC for our group swap. This is December’s and the theme was ‘Birds’.
All the stamps used in these pieces are from The Artistic Stamper except for the swirl under the bird which is Paperartsy
