12 Angry Men

I watched the movie 12 Angry men after a decade again and no wonder this is a master piece and must watch. Every watch gives a new perspective.

Let’s break the movie storyline into 10 pieces:

1. Twelve jurors enter the jury room to decide the fate of a boy accused of killing his father

2. An initial vote shows eleven jurors voting “guilty” and one juror voting “not guilty.”

3. The lone juror explains he is not convinced of innocence but wants to discuss the case.

4. Jurors begin reviewing the prosecution’s key witnesses and evidence.

5. Doubts emerge about the credibility of an old man who claimed to hear the murder.

6. Questions arise about a woman who said she saw the crime across train tracks.

7. The murder weapon, believed to be unique, is shown to be common.

8. Personal prejudices and emotional outbursts among jurors are exposed.

9. One by one, jurors change their votes as reasonable doubt grows.

10. The final verdict becomes “not guilty,” affirming the power of careful deliberation.

Here is how I would map it to a system:

What HappensWhy This Role Is Necessary in a System
Jurors assembleA system begins with people who bring varied backgrounds and experiences
Majority quickly votes guiltyShow how systems naturally drift toward easy or dominant choices
One juror dissentsPrevents blind acceptance; introduces critical friction
Case is discussedEnable structured conversation and information flow
Witness credibility questionedTest reliability of inputs
Evidence re-examinedCheck assumptions, logic, and data quality
Knife proven commonShow alternatives through tangible proof
Prejudices exposedReveal hidden distortions inside the system
Votes slowly changeAllow the system to evolve
Not-guilty verdictRepresents outcome of balanced perspectives

This movie is deeper than we think. I can relate this to many social threshold models.

Love, Fiercely.

It’s teaching my heart,
To stand,
On my own light.

Its turning ordinary,
Into a declaration,
Of my own light.

It arrives like a fire,
That burns with devotion,
To my own light.

My love,
Fiercely yours,
My light.

We all must be taught the importance of loving fiercely.

The Cycle

Wheel, returns.
Leaves, fall back.
River, Surrenders.
Decay, preserves.
End, teaches endurance.

Nature is a cycle,
Endings arrive,
In the dress of beginnings.

Resolutions 2026 – Part 1

I’ve done it year-wise, I’ve done it month-wise, I’ve followed themes, I’ve broken it into parts and pieces, and I think I’ve tried almost every possible version. And everything has worked. While many say resolutions don’t work, or they don’t believe in them, or that it’s all nonsense, for me they have made wonders. They help me dream big and dream better. This year, I’m doing it in two parts. No prizes for guessing. Part one is January to June, and part two is July to December. I want to have a mid-year checkpoint and re-write better newer ones for the second part.

Chaos and Order

The time around us,
Shifts faster than our plans.
The maps are growing old,
While we are still reading them.
We expect certainty,
While life re-arranges.

How can we stay
Relevant, present,
When,
Chaos and order
Are moving together?

This poem was inspired by the theory of Daoism.

The Sunshine of 2026

Though it’s the same sun, the same morning, the same routines, it’s never really the same day. And when that day is Jan 1, the energy feels different. I usually begin Jan 1 in slow mode, moving at my own pace, giving myself time and space to think and reflect. Like birthdays, it becomes a day to look back and make resolutions. I believe in them, and they’ve almost always worked for me.

2025 was fun. Amazing in-fact. It was indeed the best year ever. I realize I say this every year and somehow, it keeps getting better. In the same spirit, the year ahead will be better planned. I’m taking a full week to think, plan, and dream big. Bigger. Better.

I’ve already started making changes. This year begins fresh, and it feels different. I’m on a one-week break before stepping into a new job. I want to close a few pending chapters and make a transition toward building a place where I belong and thrive – my happy home. There’s always a purpose, and it waits to be fulfilled.

Happy 2026, everyone.

Box 15 – Wrapping 2025

This year, I did resolutions in boxes and parts, and for the most part, they worked well. I can say now that my life is tuned to work with plans and goals. It has become a habit, and I feel loved.

My task book that stays with me has helped me commit to planned work. I have been myself for most of this year and have loved every part of it. This year has been a charm for me and has helped me take the right decisions. I have been proud of everything I did and of who I was all along.

I see life, and it shines ahead of me. I want to take it forward in the most meaningful way. I have also loved the people who have been in and around me. My last two months were energetic, lovely, and packed with travel. I have so many stories to tell.

Wrapping up my year with all the love.

September in Box 14

A box of ‘all that and all that’. I am letting the month go. And me, go with the flow. I wonder along the time and take it along. It’s been a month of hyper activities so far. I plan to go on the same. 15 more days of chaos and more chaos.

The Highest Good

This poem is themed on Hedonism. Hedonism is the philosophy that sees pleasure and happiness as life’s highest good and its ultimate purpose.

While we had directions,
Of all emotions,
Our heart always tilted,
Towards the warmth,
That joy brings.

But,
The map
Was in the sunsets,
In moments that held us gently,
In the touch of a friend’s hand,
In the mornings
Asking us to follow,
Staying alive.

The poem reflects how, despite having many paths to follow, the heart is always drawn to the warmth of joy. It reveals that the true map to this joy lies in simple, tender moments that make life feel alive.
