Tufts Renewed its Licenses for MS Projects, Visio and Power BI
(Published June 24, 2024)
Effective June 30, Tufts is renewing our Microsoft licenses for Project, Visio, and Power BI.
If you have a current license for one of these tools, it is important that you place your order after June 30 but within a 7-day period for a new license. This will avoid any interruption or deprovisioning of your license and ensure you maintain seamless access to these tools.
NOTE: If you are away and don't get to renew within the 7 day period, you can place the order when they return and will not lose any of your work. Your license will be unassigned but once you place the renewal order then the license will be re-assigned.
If you have any questions, please contact the TTS Service desk at 617.627.3376 or it@tufts.edu.
Schedule Smarter, Not Harder: Use Zoom Scheduler for Free
(Published December 2025)
As we look ahead to the spring semester, Tufts Technology Services (TTS) encourages faculty and staff to make the most of tools already available through our university licenses — including Zoom Scheduler, a built-in, no-cost scheduling solution designed to simplify how you book meetings.
Many members of the Tufts community currently use third-party tools such as Calendly, and others to schedule Zoom meetings. While these platforms are familiar, they often come with unnecessary subscription costs and may not be managed within Tufts’ supported technology environment. With Zoom Scheduler, you can achieve the same functionality — seamlessly integrated with Zoom and Outlook — at no additional cost.
Learn more about why and how you should use Zoom Scheduler.
