Gabriel Garcia Marquez is my favorite writer of all time. This story was sort of influenced by his style. Although a work of fiction, it is slightly autobiographical.

So this is what happened this morning…
This is non-fiction. 100% true story. This is actually what brought the Caffeine Fix blog its status (e.g. why it now figures on the first or second page of Google searches of keywords that are present among my tags) – ever since I started posting this series it started getting at least 150 hits per day. It’s a light romantic story, and it actually sounds better just because you know it really happened.
