Hello! I'm Iryna, or Ira for short. I am a Research Engineer at DeepMind. I did my PhD at Ghent University, half of which I spent as a visitor at the Gatsby Unit, UCL supervised by Arthur Gretton. If you're interested in the BRUNO family of generative exchangeable meta-learning models, my thesis is here. During my PhD, I won a couple of Kaggle competitions with friends from Ghent, interned at Twitter, DeepMind, and Facebook, and wrote a bunch of papers. Apart from research, I'm into woodworking, playing cello, yacht sailing, and cold water swimming. |
