Good Morning Kim,
I hope that you are having a great morning and I was wondering if you sell the Dyak Craft Circular Needles in the entire kit?
I know that you are going to be at Shall We Knit in June which is my normal yarn store.
I am very interested in getting these needles however I haven’t been able to get information on how well they are. I currently knit with bamboo and I saw these needles and loved them for the simple fact they are colorful and are hand made.
If you could give me any insight into these needles I would be so grateful and if I can purchase an entire circular kit!
Take care and I hope you and Otis have a great day!
Hi Kim,
I’d been planning to join your smart ass 1 skein knitters club but I see that subscriptions are closed. Any other suggestions?
all the best,
Cicela
Hi Kim,
Bridget at Needles in the Hay brought you to my attention. I do a web-based newsletter called Purl Peterborough, whose purpose is to celebrate the depth and diversity of the Ptbo knitting community. It can be accessed below. (FYI ~ the second issue is being published Monday Aug 15th so I will be editing the site on Sunday (just in case you check then and think what a mess!).)
The fourth issue is going to be published December 12th and the theme for the issue is “sugar and spice and everything nice,” which is what Christmas is to me. I was hoping that you might consider writing a piece on creativity of dyeing yarn using the phrase “Santa Claus is coming to town.” I would appreciate if you would email me or call me at 705-745-8283 to discuss this.
Many thanks ~ I think it would be fun!!!!
Cindi
I am also hoping to come visit you and profile you in the future. I’m pretty bossy, aren’t I?
Hi Kim
What a stroke of luck that our daughter was visiting for a couple of days and had a dinner invite with friends in Peterborough. Being Tuesday night, I offered to drop her off for dinner, while I attended Purl Vous with the group on Water Street. And whom should I meet, but our dear Kim with her boxes of yarns.
Oh, I did fall in luv with “as God as my witness, I thought Turkeys could fly”. Oh Kim, the simple lace pattern scarf I have chosen for this fine array of colour mix is knitting up as any fine strutting turkey endowed with these fine markings could for the approaching Thanksgiving. (will attempt to send photo when complete)
Upon retrieving daughter from her dinner, I was questioned about the sparkle in my eyes, which resulted in my sharing my precious evening purchase. Daughter stated that a fine hank of Kim’s yarn was far cheaper and the mileage greater that any counselling session.
til we meet again

Chapter of Northwest Regional Spinners Association
I am in charge of putting together a Spin-Knit –In in the greater Western Washington area the first Saturday in January 2012. There will be people attending from all over the Northwest, Canada and some traveling from afar. We are putting together raffle baskets and have door prizes. On behalf of the Northwest Regional Spinners Association I would like to ask if you could offer donations for this event. If so please send them to the following address by the third week in Dec. I think your yarn is beautiful. A list of donors will go in each goodie bag as the attendees come in the door. The event will be held on January 7, 2012. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
Thank you for considering helping us. There will be in excess of 250 spinners and knitters in attendance.

I absolutely LOVE your site!! I laugh out loud at the colourway names, and that can’t be a bad thing! I just got my second shipment of three from last season’s SAK, and signed up today for the next twelve months. It’s reassuring (or maybe a little alarming?!) to know that there other people in the world with a similar sense of humour.
The first time I visited your site, my boys and I started brainstorming colourway names. Our best offering is: ‘Why is a raven like a writing desk?’ Oh, and if you ever stumble upon an answer to this ubiquitous riddle, let me know!
Keep up the great work, guys!
I wantto be a minion. Oh wait I live inkingston, too far to drive. Rats.
Hi Kim
We have never met, but we would like to thank you for all of the students you have referred to stay with us at Dunloe Farm Bed and Breakfast. It has been great getting to know the girls.
Kind regards

Hi Kim,
After driving up and down Kennisis Lake Road for 2 weeks every summer for the last decade your sign has percolated into my consciousness. Once once while shlepping groceries did I see that you were open – I thought the Indigodragonfly name was familiar from Ravelry. Unfortunately, my sister’s cottage is 45 minutes from groceries and I had meat in the car and didn’t stop. Next year for sure! I’m very excited to realize you are the one and the same Indigodragonfly I have been hearing about.
