Hey guys :). It’s been another long while since I came on wordpress let alone LAEC. I think most of you saw this coming. It’s not that I’ve lost interest in Kpop (because I am still very much in fandom!! Watching WGM every week and trying to catch up on T-Ara’s Hello Baby and Running Man etc. etc.), I’m just no longer motivated to write lengthy blog posts ?? Even my own personal blog has been left dormant lol and I’m considering making that private because I don’t see the point in leaving that open to the public.
I know I created a tumblr for LAEC but it seems most of you preferred our posts here on wordpress anyway so that hasn’t been updated either. So I apologise. Sincerely!! :( It’s been a good 3 years and I’ve had lots of fun blogging about kpop and spazzing with all of you guys (I don’t even know how many of you are still around to read this lol) and because of that, it’s only fair for me to say a proper Goodbye once and for all, right?
I hope you guys all have a lovely Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Thank you for sticking with us for so long! And for once I’m writing this post not on behalf of all us authors but just myself! Pinkandsparkly is convinced she’ll still update this blog lol so LAEC won’t officially “close” til we all leave.

A new couple has emerged in the industry with actress Shin Se Kyung (21) and SHINee’s member Jonghyun (21) revealing that they are currently dating.
After finding that they both had interest in one another, they began their relationship about a month ago and has confirmed it through Sports Seoul. The two was revealed to have gotten together as often as they could despite their busy schedules, having street dates mainly around Shin Se Kyung’s apartment.
A scene of the two dating was discovered on October 20th after Shin Se Kyung came home from the conference for her movie, “Acoustic.” Jonghyun was waiting for her by her home as the two went on to walk the streets while listening to music. Jonghyun would even at times cover her from passerbys.
One associate that saw the two commented, “They can’t spend a lot of time together since they’re both busy. They communicate through texting or phone calls and usually just take walks in the early morning around their homes.”
Jonghyun has often named Shin Se Kyung as his ideal woman, while Shin Se Kyung chose SHINee as her favorite idol group on broadcast appearances. They have been officially dating for a month, their first meeting being in May at a concert both participated in. The two advanced on to friends, and now, significant others.
Another associate stated, “Meeting each other became a kind of opportunity to rest for them. They share a lot of the same hobbies and thoughts, which is why they were able to get so close so fast. The two became stars at a young age and have hardships that aren’t able to be expressed in words. Those points became a sort of strength to one another.”
The management agencies of the couple met with Sports Seoul on October 26th and confirmed the relationship.
Shin Se Kyung’s agency, Tree Actors, stated, “It’s been a month since they began meeting one another. They have good feelings for one another and currently getting to know each other.”
Jonghyun’s agency, SM Entertainment, also carefully stated, “We heard that they met each other through other people. Their relationship is just now beginning.”
I…have nothing intelligent to add. Only I’ve been in shock for like over half an hour. I am actually reeeally happy for Jonghyun (look at how happy he looks omfg) and this is the cutest couple I have ever seen among K-idols, I swear.

Introduction – Hongki introduced each member and they each had a little (like, 5 seconds) solo. Jonghun’s guitar solo was SO ATTRACTIVE <3333 and Seunghyun’s train imitation was…cute :D? Hahaha.
Can I just say that while everyone else has grown up (Minhwan, I’m looking at you) Jaejin still looks like he’s fifteen O_O
Poker Face Cover – Ok so I cringed through this XD But if you ignore the engrish, it actually sounds pretty awesome :)) Though I keep laughing cos I hear ‘poker feet’ XD

]]>Anyway, I’m here to do a post on Sungkyunkwan Scandal! If you follow me on tumblr/twitter, you’ll know this is what has been keeping me busy every day I’m not at uni LOL. Two episodes are released a week on Monday and Tuesday and subs are usually out by Wednesday or Thursday on viikii :).
I originally watched this drama for Joongki and because I have a thing for historical dramas, but it has turned out so much better than I expected and hoped for *_*. Yoochun’s acting has improved immmmmeeeeeennnnsely and I have found a new undying love for Yoo Ah In. His character is my favourite right now and I have a feeling that’ll stick til the end unless he does something douche-y which I’m sure he won’t. Park Min Young is the female lead and she does a very convincing job as being a cross-dresser! Don’t get me wrong, she’s gorgeous as a female but compared to other cross-dressing roles, I think she’s one of the best I’ve seen :).
I don’t think there’s much I can say to convince anyone who isn’t watching this drama to watch it because by now, I’m extremely biased and I wouldn’t want to create unnecessary hype or anything, but this is the first drama I intend to finish after OB GYN Doctors, so I wonder if that says anything. Having said that though, I never really tried watching a drama after that one LOL. My Joongki bias is indeed very big.
I’ve already seen up to Episode 8, so I don’t think I’ll be making weekly posts on this drama but I still hope some of you guys try this out. If you find the first two episodes moving a little slow, I assure you, by the 4th/5th, you’ll be dying for more.

Quasimodo – This is how I survive on new SHINee songs until I get my album! Everyone has been going on and on about Quasimodo, so I’m so glad they performed it *_*. I saved this til last because I figured it’d be my favourite performance hehe and I was right. This song is definitely tmth for my heart. HOW BEAUTIFUL IS IT? It’s so sad, I need to go read up on lyrics after this. And everyone’s adlibs at the end omg. SOBBING :(((((.
Electric Heart – The intro reminded me of a song but … I can’t think of it right now. This is a very sexual song HAHA or is it just me? I like the way Onew sings “Electric Heart~” /dead. And then the way Key looked while singing was too much to handle!! Taemin’s voice sounds really pretty here though :).
Jonghyun: Live 1, Live 2 – I am not kidding when I tell you to turn your volume down for the first clip. Jonghyun sings two lines of Obsession and it will burst your eardrums, when he hits those high notes.
Taemin Live – Omg, I am so proud of Taemin!! Haha, his little solo didn’t end up as embarrassing as it did the last time he asked to sing. He’s more confident now, I think (even though he said he was nervous at the start?). And omg his engrish sounds just like Junsu’s !!

Ryeowook : One Fine Spring Day – First time hearing the song because I still haven’t bought the album hehe >_> <_<. The song is so … pleasant? Lol I'm not sure how else to describe it. Ah, Ryeowook has such a clear voice *_*. He should sing me to sleep one day.
K.R.Y : Distant Memory Of You – Kyu’s voice literally made me cry. IT’S JUST SO BEAUTIFUL OKAY. Watch the couple in the audience sitting in awe.
Leeteuk, Sungmin, Donghae : More than Words – SCREAMING, DONGHAE ;_;. Lmao I’m so biased but he’s just so cute. I was more listening than watching but I did catch Sungmin’s beautiful smile at the end~
Shindong & Eunhyuk : Bird – Hehe, they come out to rap and dance. And then Shindong goes “through” Eunhyuk LOL.
Good Person – Hearing this for the first time too :D. The song is pretty cute :3. The part Eunhyuk sings was adorable, especially with everyone shoving their mics in his face. WHAT IS IT WITH SJ LOL!? They love playing with mics like that.
No Other – You guys know they finished promotions for “No Other” already, right? :3. I will miss them so much. I know I shouldn’t think like that, but I feel like it’ll be the last song they promote as this big a group. OF COURSE I HOPE NOT, but kaljsfd ;~~~;. They’ll be busy with SSIII and SMTown World Tour from now. It’s strange seeing them perform this all in black lol. I’m used to whites and pastels!!

100723 Music Bank – Minho got a heck of a lot of screentime considering he’s just rapping on a chair lmao. But it was definitely a great performance. I read the rehearsal perf was better than the broadcasted one though. And Jonghyun and Onew did seem to be dying near the end but this is seriously a really hard song to sing D; However~ I listened to the MR ver. of this and MuCore’s performance and they were singing throughout the whole song and weren’t off key or anything :D/. So proud of them~
100724 Music Core – MINHO HAS LIKE, A THRONE. Sort of. I think MuCore was my favourite performance. Yes, even better than Inki. But I might have to rewatch again to decide. The choreo was best shown in this performance. Inki, had too many low angles. I like Jonghyun’s back :Q_____.
100725 Inkigayo Comeback – Nggggggh, Onew with eyeliner *_*. After watching their Comeback perfs, I’m wondering when we’ll see all 5 perform this song :(. It looks incomplete, to be honest.
I’ll be sad we won’t see “Up & Down” anymore. I loved Onew’s opening lines *_*. They made my ears very happy.
100727 Traffic Safety Song – I LOVE INKI CAMPAIGN SONGS. Jonghyun as a cop is A+, too.
]]>I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY *___________*. I’m just really really impressed and I think their lives will blow me away. This song is so hard to sing and their choreography is pretty damn intense this time round. Usually I say choreography is amazing and I love it…but this time, amazing would be the ultimate understatement. There are SO many parts I’m in love with, I just, alskjfd cannot form coherent sentences right now. And how good does everyone look? I would not want to run into Key on the streets at night but aklsjdf everyone looks great. Taemin. TAEMIN!!!!!!! He’s just so gorgeous, beautiful, stunning, amazing, flawless, I’m just shaking in my seat watching him have eye sex with the camera :(.
I know I seem pretty calm (this is calm, right?) but that’s only because I’ve spent an hour watching and screencapping the MV and I’m already really exhausted ~_~. Yah, I have no life BUT OH WELL :D !!
