I have contemplated the future of this blog for a long time. I was hoping to keep it active until I hit the 5 year cancer-free mark. Having just celebrated my 4 year cancerversary, it has become increasingly harder to keep this thing going. It feels more like a chore and less like an outlet for me to express myself, vent my frustrations, or have a place to celebrate the good things in my life.

So the time has come to say goodbye. I may decide to keep the cancer posts online, as a way for me to "pay it forward" to someone who may come across the blog in their time of cancer crisis, to see that there is hope beyond a cancer diagnosis. As for the personal posts about my family, I have archived them and will keep them for my children.
