It’s gonna be a great year and I can’t wait to shoot my first wedding for this year tomorrow. I’m also currently looking into making some changes to my website. I know an issue for some websites that have flash is that they don’t work on some of popular mobile devices like iphones and ipads. My website is flash so I’d like to know if this has stopped anyone from viewing it? I had thought about this last year but I assumed most people would be shopping for their wedding photographer from a computer rather than a small device but I realize that there can be instances where you may want to open it from your iphone. So let me know, is this important to you?

My last wedding for 2010 was on December 18th. Several years ago, I shot this bride’s senior portraits and I once again got to take part in an important moment in her life, her wedding day. Congratulations Darrin and Natalie. (bridals were shot in early November)

I’ve received many pricing inquiries lately for weddings. Just one last reminder, the current pricing is only good for contract turned in by 12/31/2010, so if you’d like to lock in the current pricing, you must do so by that date. The only thing required to book your date is a signed contract and paid retainer of $350. Contract can be sent via email and faxed back to me for quick processing. If you are thinking about retaining your date for 2011, be sure to get your contract in soon. Dates are already being filled for Spring of ’11 and there will be a price increase at the first of the year. Also, if you would like to schedule a bridal portrait session, the fall is a great time for this! The weather is mild and dry and the sunlight is softer.  This can be added to any contract for $300 and this includes the digital files. Prices good till 12/31/10 only.

I have been rather busy and have severely neglected my blog. The promotion is still on till the end of August for that free $100 print credit, so if you are considering contracting with me, you may want to turn your contract in before the end of the month. Here are a few from the last wedding I shot…

The $100 free print credit promotion will be continued till August 31st. All new contracts signed before August 31st will receive a $100 print credit to be used towards any wedding print enlargements. The print credit expires one year after the wedding date. Print credits cannot be used towards coffee table or flush mount albums.

All new contracts turned in during the month of May will receive a $100 print credit. This can be used in addition to the 50% off regular print prices you will already receive for one full year.
